Jinghong City is in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province.

Jinghong City is located in the south of Yunnan Province, in the middle of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, 560 kilometers away from Kunming, the provincial capital, with a total area of 6866+0438+08 square kilometers. It borders Jiangcheng County and Mengla County in the east, Menghai County and Lancang County in the west, Pu 'er City in the north and Myanmar, Laos and Thailand in the south. The border line is 1 12.39 km long.

Jinghong city is located at the intersection of Lancang River and Liusha River. Lancang River runs through the city from north to south, and Luo Kun Highway runs through the border from east to west. The horizontal distance from east to west is 98km, and the vertical distance from north to south is112km. It is high in the north and low in the south, and the mountains in the territory mostly run from northwest to southeast.
