Lionhead geese grow fast, usually they can be released in about 3 months, and female geese start laying eggs in about 6 months, with an average of about 30 eggs per year.

The delivery age 160- 180 days will normally be controlled at around 220-250 days. Lionhead geese usually lay eggs from September of that year to April of the following year, which is generally divided into 3-4 laying periods.

Grasp the feed supply of breeding geese in laying period flexibly, and decide the feed supply according to the appetite, weather and laying situation of the population. If the laying rate is 20%~30% every day, it is necessary to increase the daily feeding amount; If an egg laying cycle is over, most denominators have started to nest, and the daily feed should be reduced.
