Where does Mohe belong?

Mohe Town, located in Daxing 'anling area in the north of Heilongjiang Province in northeast China, is a border town, located in the northernmost part of China, and is known as "China's Arctic Village". Here you can see a magical astronomical landscape-the Northern Lights. Therefore, Mohe Town is also called "the city that never sleeps". Mohe Town, also known as Mohe Township, is now called Arctic Township and belongs to Mohe County.

Mohe Town is located on the south bank of Heilongjiang, a Sino-Russian border river at 53 north latitude. It is as cold as winter all the year round, only about half a month in summer, the highest temperature is only 20℃, and only about 10℃ at night. Moreover, the days are long and the nights are short, and the daytime can reach more than 19 hours. On a summer night, if you are lucky enough, you can also see the Northern Lights in the Arctic Village. This is the only place in our country where we can enjoy the splendid, strange and magnificent "Northern Lights".

In winter, "Arctic Village" is a piece of Wang Yang in Xue Hai. The scenery in the north, the snow and ice in Wan Li and the speeding horse-drawn sleigh have a unique flavor, which makes all tourists linger. Luoguhe Village, 82km west of Mohe River, is the source of Heilongjiang, the third largest river in China. Here, you can not only visit the source of the mother river in Northeast China, but also make a profound pursuit of the past and present. You can also follow an ancient "golden road" to find the shining footprints of those hard and tenacious gold diggers.

Heilongjiang has been completely frozen in winter, and the northwest wind has blown the ice and snow on it into scales, with China on one side and Russian on the other. At this time, it has become a winter paradise for people, full of excitement, snowball fights, horses flying on the river and ice cubes spinning on the ice. Sporadic Mohe people who cut ice and fish are very cute, and their faces are blown red and vicissitudes, much like Eskimos. Go and ask about fishing skills. Adults and children will enthusiastically explain it to you.

In the distance, above the vast snowfield is a vast forest, where brave and tenacious Mohe people braved the cold to cut wood and track their prey. Look carefully, in this white world, the carmine ditch, which used to be the imperial gold mine of Cixi, is also faintly visible, making this virgin forest more mysterious.

It's a long way to Mohe. Even in Qiqihar, the northernmost city in China, it takes one day and one night by train. The nearest station to Mohe is Mohe County Station, and Mohe County is here. There is only one local train every day: 885 Qiqihar 12: 50, and the next day 13: 37 to Xilin Gol League. 886 Xilinhot 16: 42 and arrive in Jiagedaqi at 5: 26 the next day. Another express train to Mohe stopped at Gulian Station, the northernmost passenger station in China, west of Xilinji Town 17km (67 1 Jiagedaqi started at 7: 52, 19: 52, Gulian returned at 22: 45 and arrived in Daqing at 20: 40 the next day). Take the shuttle bus 1.5 hours from Xilin Town, Mohe County to Beiji Village, Mohe Township, the northernmost part of China (there is only one shuttle bus every day). For example, you can go back and forth in Mohe and charter a bus to 250 yuan/day. The main scenic spots of "Arctic Village" are: North Pavilion of North China, North Monument of Arctic Village, the northernmost post office in China, the northernmost home in China, Arctic, China, and the northernmost boundary monument of Sino-Japanese Puppet Man Power Plant Site in Beishao, North China.

Mohe County Committee Guest House (Xilin Town), a bed for an ordinary quadruple room is about 30 ~ 40 yuan.

Special note: Mohe is one of the coldest places in China. The temperature in winter is often -30 ~ 40℃, and the extreme minimum temperature has reached -52.3℃. It is recommended to wear warm cotton underwear, leather clothes, old cotton trousers, hats, two layers of gloves and three layers of socks when going to Mohe in winter. You should wear shoes two or three sizes bigger than before. These clothes must be bought in Harbin, Qiqihar and other big cities in advance. The pen doesn't work (the ink is frozen and I can't write), and the camera doesn't work well. Pay attention to keep the camera warm.

Looking for the arctic village in the north

Mohe is also called "Long Night City". The winter is long, the night is long, the day is short, and there are only three hours from winter to the day before last. Locals call it "Black Day". It's supposed to be sunny, but it's foggy here and every household has lights on. If it weren't for the crowds rushing to work in the street, it would really be the night when the lights were on. At noon, the sun in the sky is like a warm spherical street lamp on a city street at night. The sun has plated the earth with a layer of golden yellow, and the snow, birch and pine trees are all inlaid with a layer of golden yellow edges, just like the realistic version of "the city is full of golden flowers".
