What month is the rainy season in South China?

The rainy season in southern China is from June to July.

The typical rainy season mainly occurs in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in China, starting from Huanghuai area in the north, reaching the central and northern parts of Hunan, Jiangxi and Zhejiang provinces in the south, Yichang in Hubei province in the west and Shanghai in the east. The middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in China are usually rainy from mid-June to early July every year.

Due to the strong contrast between land and sea, a unique monsoon climate has formed here, which is characterized by rainy summer and dry winter, with rainfall concentrated in summer, which is just the opposite of the Mediterranean climate.
