Why is the highest temperature in July in Beijing?
Temperature The temperature of the atmosphere is referred to as temperature for short. The temperature is the temperature at the height specified by ground meteorological observation (i.e. 1.25 ~ 2.00 meters, and 1.5 meters in China). Temperature records can characterize the thermal characteristics of a place, which is indispensable in both theoretical research and the application of national defense and economic construction. Therefore, temperature is one of the routine elements that need to be measured in ground meteorological observation. Temperatures include conventional temperature (4 times a day for basic stations and 24 times a day for reference stations), daily maximum temperature and daily minimum temperature. Stations equipped with thermometers also have continuous temperature records. It is measured by a thermometer or thermometer installed on the shutter. These thermometers or thermometers are made according to the thermal expansion and cold contraction characteristics of mercury, alcohol or bimetal as sensors. The unit of temperature is expressed in degrees Celsius (℃), and some are expressed in degrees Fahrenheit (F), with one decimal place reserved, and a negative value means zero. China's temperature records are generally in degrees Celsius (℃). The conversion relationship between Celsius and Fahrenheit is: C=5/9(F-32) F=9/5C+32, in which F-Fahrenheit temperature and C- Celsius temperature are usually used to reflect the cold and hot degree of the atmosphere. China uses centigrade scale, which is expressed in℃ and pronounced as℃. People invented the thermometer according to the principle that mercury (alcohol) expands with heat and contracts with cold, and installed it in a special device to automatically and continuously monitor the temperature. The temperature mentioned in the public weather forecast was measured by a thermometer in a louver with a height of 1.5 m in an observation field covered with turf. Generally, it is observed four times a day (02, 08, 14, 20), and some stations observe it three times a day (08, 14, 20) according to the actual situation.
Temperature change
Temperature changes are divided into daily changes and annual changes. Daily variation, the highest temperature is around noon 12, and the lowest temperature is around sunrise. The annual change shows that July is the hottest on land and August on the ocean in the northern hemisphere. The southern hemisphere is opposite to the northern hemisphere.
Temperature distribution law
It decreases from low latitude to high latitude, so the isotherm is generally parallel to latitude. The temperature of the sea and land at the same latitude is different. In summer, the isotherm protrudes in the direction of high latitude on land and in the direction of low latitude on the ocean.
