The news center is the only news unit in our county to carry out radio and television publicity at home and abroad. At present, there are 49 on-the-job cadres and workers, including 6 with university education, 26 with junior college education, 6 with technical secondary school education, and 2 with intermediate title/kloc-0. The news center consists of: news department, advertising department, thematic department, literature and art department, production department, technology department, office, editor-in-chief room, radio and television news website, news center reporter station in Koike, and launch center.

In 200 1 year, our center began to implement the management mode of responsibility system, appointment system and annual salary system, and realized income of more than 2.7 million yuan in 2004.

The news center has Huangmei news, police viewpoint, attention, variety stand, friends of health, spark technology, weather forecast and other columns. Effectively cooperated with the construction of three civilizations in our county and steadily promoted internal and external propaganda. In recent years, more than 30 people in our center have been commended and rewarded by the central and provincial governments. The news center of Huangmei Radio and Television Bureau has more than professional digital cameras 10 and nonlinear editing equipment 10, which has realized the "three-in-one", that is, digital video recording, editing without editing and broadcasting without tape. In particular, the tape-free broadcasting system independently developed by our center is the first in the province and has been running successfully for nearly 5 years.
