: list of scenic spots
1. Kaiyuan Temple
Kaiyuan Temple is the Jingguan Temple mentioned in the previous story. In the 11th year of Sui Dynasty (AD 59 1 year), it was renamed Jiehui Temple, and in the year of Tang Kaiyuan, it was renamed Kaiyuan in response to the call.
Walking down the steps, although the Tang building and the bell tower are in front of you, first of all, a huge and elegant figure is in front of you. In 2000, it was unearthed in the west of Qianjie, Zhengding, and later moved to Kaiyuan Temple. It is actually a stone tablet. With a plump figure and amazing weight, Solo is 8.4 meters long, 3.2 meters wide and 2.6 meters high, and weighs 107 tons, which is the highest in China.
There is also a monument beside it, weighing 14 tons. The double-claw Ssangyong play bead is shaped like an eagle, with a flame-like ball in the middle, which is very beautiful.
There are several remnants behind the head of the monument, with smooth handwriting and clear fonts. It is said that there are still a few paragraphs missing.
The stone tablet was destroyed and buried. After years of research by experts and scholars, the giant stone tablet unearthed is the merit monument of the German envoy An Chongrong in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties. This man has a rather complicated entanglement with the infamous Shi Jingtang, which is also the reason why the stone tablet was destroyed and buried underground. I won't talk about it here. If you are interested, you can Baidu yourself.
The ruins of this hall are also buildings of the Tang Dynasty. Now there are only ruins, which have been restored to the present skeleton.
After reading it, it is the main building of Kaiyuan Temple, with one tower, one temple and one bell tower lined up. The temple was built in the Qing Dynasty, so it is not interesting.
When it comes to the horizontal layout of Kaiyuan Temple with one bell and one tower, it is quite particular. Generally, the two towers of a temple face each other, and the bells and drums (buildings) ring. This parallel structure of one tower and one bell only appeared before the Tang Dynasty, reflecting the transition of Buddhist temple architecture from the early tower-centered to the later temple-centered, and this configuration of Kaiyuan Temple has become an isolated case today.
2. Bell Tower:
Look at the bell tower first. It is said that there are 4.5 Tang-style buildings in China. Last year, we visited the two most important places in Shanxi, nanzenji and Beijushi. Now this bell tower is a semi-Tang structure (also the oldest bell tower in China).
The reason why it is half a block is because later generations rebuilt the upper floor many times, but the lower floor miraculously retained the original style. At the same time, the Bell Tower is one of the few early pavilions in China.
It is said that this door panel is a relic of the Tang Dynasty. During the Cultural Revolution, Mr. Liang Sicheng asked Zhengding Wenbao Institute to dismantle the Tang door plate of the bell tower for protection.
Unfortunately, the door is closed and I can't see it.
You can only know it from photos on the internet. The bronze bell hanging on the second floor of the bell tower is also an original in the Tang Dynasty. The clock is 2.9 meters high and 1.56 meters in diameter. It has never fallen for thousands of years, and it is also a mechanical miracle!
3. Donta:
After seeing the bell tower, look at the Tangta.
This pagoda is called Sumeru Pagoda, also known as Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and its appearance is quite similar to the Little Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi 'an.
Sumeru Pagoda maintains the simple and elegant shape of cornice pagoda in Tang Dynasty. There is a stone coupon door with a stone forehead embedded in the middle of the front.
Sadly, Yanghe Building was demolished in the 1960s. Although it was rebuilt today, I feel something is missing after all!
5. Linji Temple
As mentioned in the story, Linji Temple is one of the oldest temples in Zhengding, which began in the Eastern Wei Dynasty. In the eighth year of the Tang Dynasty (854), Yi Monk was founded here. Because of its steep peak, Lin Ji School gained a great reputation at home and abroad and became the most popular school of Zen. Every year, Lin Ji monks from Asia, Europe, Australia and even North America come here to worship their ancestors. Therefore, Zhengding Linji Temple is the earliest Buddhist Lin Ji Dojo in the world and the ancestral temple of Lin Ji in the world.
The Chengling Pagoda, one of the four pagodas in Zhengding, is the Buddhist Pagoda of Yi Monk. Built in the Tang Dynasty, it is a brick octagonal tower with nine dense eaves and a height of 30.47 meters. It was rebuilt during the reign of King Dading (l 16 1-l 189).
After understanding the long-standing inheritance of Linji Temple, it is regarded as a stupa. Really as tall and straight as Teacher Liang Sicheng praised. The sculpture is gorgeous, clear and beautiful, and it ranks first in the tower.
The spirit tower is built on an octagonal brick foundation. There is a stone base on the stage, and then a brick sumeru seat.
The tower head is very high, with brick-carved arch fake doors on all sides, square fake windows on all sides, carved columns on the corners and rolling brakes on the stigma.
The floors above the second floor are gradually reduced, the eaves are closely connected, and the width of each bay is correspondingly reduced, forming a harmonious outline. There is a brick bucket arch under each eaves of the tower.
Every corner beam of the tower is made of wood, and the roof tile, ridge beast and set beast are all made of green glass.
6. Guanghui Temple
After seeing the Lingta, go out and go straight to Guanghui Temple.
Before I came here, I had seen various forms of Zhengding Four Pagodas. What attracted me most was the Huatuo Tower in Guanghui Temple.
Overlooking Linji Temple, Huata is in sight. Best of all, these two temples have been rested into a natural space, with green grass and flowers. The wooden plank road winds among them, and graceful ancient buildings adorn it, making people feel integrated.
Bypass the main entrance and go in and you will see Hualou. In fact, there is only one Huatata left in Guanghui Temple.
Flower pagoda, commonly known as flower pagoda, is also called multi-pagoda. According to records, Hualou was built in the Tang Dynasty. The existing Huata Tower is an important relic after reconstruction during the Dading period. It was revised in Ming and Qing dynasties and also revised in modern times.
From the modeling point of view, the flower pagoda of Guanghui Temple belongs to the flower pagoda type. Its important feature is that the upper part of the tower is decorated with various complicated floral ornaments, which looks like a huge bouquet. This tower was formed in Song, Liao and Jin Dynasties, and almost disappeared after Yuan Dynasty. There are only a dozen pagodas in China. Zhengding Pagoda is one of the few existing pagodas with the most peculiar shape and gorgeous decoration, which is an isolated case in China.
Bouquet tower is the essence of China Tower, accounting for about 1/3 of the whole tower. Look at the camera carefully, the images of lions, elephants, buddhas, bodhisattvas, animal heads, heavenly kings and lux are all carved on it according to the octagonal vertical line. All kinds of rugged carvings have changed a lot.
I have visited the China Tower several times, and I feel I can't get enough of it. The clouds in the sky became dense unconsciously, and the building blocks piled up on the Huata Tower were even more spectacular!
After seeing Hua Lou, it is a relatively large square, and the south gate is not far ahead. It was Sunday and the crowd was surging.
Because it rained before, there was a lot of water on the floor, and the asphalt road became a mirror. Look back at the flower tower, reflected in the water!
7. Zhengding Ancient City Wall
Zhengding ancient city has a history of 1600 years. Earth was built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and stone was built in the Northern Zhou Dynasty. It was rebuilt and expanded into a earth city in the Tang Dynasty. After the expansion of the Ming Dynasty, it was changed to a brick city with a circumference of 24 Li. The existing Zhengding city wall is a relic of the Ming Dynasty, with an existing height of 8 106 meters.
Due to various reasons, the four gates of Zhengding ancient city have been annihilated. Now, the south gate and the 50-meter-long wall on both sides are ca.
At this time, the Linji Temple has been closed, and only the Chengling Tower is quietly bathed in the sunset. The pagoda is silent, but radiant.
Finally, I passed Kaiyuan Temple and found that the door was still open. Thinking of the last touch of the sunset, I came in to wander.
Looking at these two buildings in the Tang Dynasty, they slowly turned into two silhouettes in the sunset, and the clouds in the sky changed as if they had just been visited and opened again. The 25th generation monk Lin Jizong presided over the construction.
