What are the four wonders of Mount Tai?
Mount Tai is adjacent to the sea in the east, the Yellow River in the west and Qufu in the distance. It stands on Qilu, and has been a key area of politics, economy and culture in the East for thousands of years. In the long cultural history of the Chinese nation for thousands of years, the majestic Mount Tai is on a par with the Great Wall, the Yangtze River and the Yellow River.
The unique geographical location and climatic characteristics of Mount Tai have created the wonders of sunrise and sunset, the Buddha's light on Mount Tai and the golden belt of the Yellow River as the top of Dai, and are called the Four Wonders of Mount Tai.
The sunrise on Mount Tai is the most spectacular and touching, which is one of the wonders of Daiding and an important symbol of Mount Tai. With the first light of the rising sun tearing the darkness before dawn, the eastern sky gradually changed from darkness to fish-belly white and red until it was dazzling golden yellow, spraying thousands of rays of sunshine. Finally, a fireball jumped out of the water and took off.
The whole process is like a skilled magician, instantly changing thousands of colorful pictures, which is amazing. Watching the sunrise in Daiding has always been what people yearn for, and it has also made many literati sing for it.
Sunset is a must of Mount Tai. At sunset on Mount Tai, there is a lot of weather. Especially when the weather is clear after the rain, the sky is crisp and the sun is setting, at the top of Mount Tai, looking up at the western sky, the residual clouds are like peaks and mountains, and the golden light penetrates through the clouds, breaks through the fog and pours into the world. At sunset, Yunfeng was set with a layer of golden bright edge, shining with the brilliance of rare treasures.
The Buddha's light on Mount Tai is also one of the wonders of Daiding. Whenever you stand on Mount Tai in the foggy morning or evening and look along the light, you may see a colorful halo with blue inside and red outside on the foggy curtain, which reflects the whole figure or head shadow, just like the colorful halo on the head of the Buddha statue, hence the name "Buddha light" or "Bao light".
Mount Tai Buddha's light is a diffraction phenomenon of light, and its appearance is conditional. According to records, the Buddha's light on Mount Tai mostly appears in semi-sunny and semi-foggy weather from June to mid-August, and it must be when the sun shines obliquely.
The Yellow River Golden Belt is another wonder of Mount Tai. At sunset, at the end of the peaks, you can see the Yellow River shining like a golden belt in the northwest of Mount Tai. The light of the river reflects into the sky, forming a mirage, sparkling, yellow and white, like gold and silver paved, from southwest to northeast, reaching the junction of heaven and earth.
There are clouds in the sky, and the afterglow of the sunset shines on the mountains like a golden light through the clouds. The sun is like a huge jade plate, turning from white to yellow and getting bigger and bigger. The sky is like satin, until the sunset sinks to the bottom of the clouds, and the glow turns red. The clouds and peaks in the sky seem to be burning. The sky is red, the mountains are red, the clouds are red and the ground is red.
Looking up, the Yellow River fell from the sky like a ribbon. Under the setting sun, the white ribbon-like Yellow River ripples, giving people a moving illusion.
The sun slowly leans towards the Yellow River, and the ribbon-like Yellow River seems to be bound by the sun and flying on the crimson horizon. As Yuan Mei, a poet in Qing Dynasty, described in his poem "Climbing Mount Tai":
A stream of yellow water is like a belt, passing through the world and connecting the Milky Way.
When people see the golden zone of the Yellow River, they will think of the beautiful waist jade of Mount Tai and the legend of its origin.
A long time ago, there lived a young man named Liu Shuan by the firewood river in the east of Mount Tai. His parents died when he was a child, and he lived alone by collecting firewood.
Liu Shuan often goes to Dazhigou to cut wood. He often rests under the mulberry trees in the ditch. One day, a mulberry leaf fell on his hand. When he looked carefully, there was still a pool of silkworm eggs stuck to the mulberry leaves. Liu Shuan felt it was a pity to throw it away, so he carefully put mulberry leaves in his arms and went home with firewood.
Liu Shuan brought back mulberry leaves, and a few days later, the mulberry leaves were covered with silkworm babies. Since then, Liu Shuan has collected some fresh mulberry leaves every day and carefully fed them to the silkworm babies. Liu Shuan is looking forward to these silkworms cocoon early so that they can be sold and put on clothes.
One day, when Liu Shuan came home, he found that all the silkworms were gone, only bird droppings were left. Suddenly, Liu Shuan found a big, white and fat silkworm under the reed mat and quickly held it in his hand. Silkworm kept shaking its head, as if to tell what had just happened sadly. Liu Shuan gently put the silkworm into the basket and covered it with a thick layer of mulberry leaves.
Soon, the silkworm made a white cocoon as big as a goose egg. Liu Shuan held the cocoon and could not bear to let it go. He went up the mountain to cut wood and held it in his arms. He sleeps at night and puts it on the pillow, never leaving.
One night, Liu Shuan slept in a daze and saw that the cocoon suddenly floated up, floated into the sky and turned into a white cloud. A girl dressed in white floated down from the clouds and came forward with a smile and said, "Liu Shuan! Why don't you leave your cocoon? "
Liu Shuan woke up, quickly set up the pot, added water, and put the cocoon into the water, only to see that the cocoon grew bigger and bigger, and the pot was full in the blink of an eye. He quickly found some sticks to make a silk reeling car, pulled out the silk head and wrapped 7749 silk balls in one breath. The cocoon in the pot is still not small at all.
From then on, Liu Shuan reeled at night and turned back into silk and satin during the day. Over time, the shopkeeper of the silk shop felt suspicious: how can a poor firewood man have so much silk?
One night, the shopkeeper of the satin shop sneaked into the house from under Liu Shuan's window. He saw Liu Shuan busy reeling silk. The room is full of white silk balls, but there is only one cocoon in the pot. The shopkeeper realized that Liu Shuan had only one cocoon.
The owner of the silk shop wants to take the cocoon away. While Liu Shuan was asleep, he stole the treasure cocoon and set fire to Liu Shuan's thatched cottage for fear of getting wind of it. The silk shopkeeper ran away with the treasure cocoon, but just ran out of the hut and couldn't run any more.
He looked down and saw that his legs were firmly entangled in countless strands of silk thread, which became tighter and tighter. After a while, the silk shopkeeper turned into a pupa, and a group of old women flew in to peck him.
The villagers saw that Liu Shuan's hut was on fire and came to the rescue with buckets. When the fire was put out, people didn't see Liu Shuan, only a white cloud rose above the straw house. People saw Liu Shuan and a girl in white sitting on the cloud, constantly reeling, and their wisps of silver silk fluttered gently in the sky and gradually became a long ribbon.
This jade-white belt surrounds the mountainside of Mount Tai. Later, people gave it a beautiful name, called Taishan Yaoyu.
Mount Tai is famous for its magnificent scenery. Overlapping mountains, heavy figures, the contrast between pines and boulders, and the change of clouds make it magnificent, bright, quiet and magical, making it a master of scenic spots in China.
