When opening windows on the roof, pay attention to the following points:

1. If the house has been built, it is not appropriate to open windows on the roof (1). The size of the hole is too large, so it is suggested that the window opening with a size of 800mm(2) or less in size of the hole should be located in the middle of the short side of the concrete slab near the beam side and the corresponding beam, and it is not advisable to open windows at the intersection of vertical and horizontal beams. Pay attention to protect the beam when digging, so as not to hurt the beam, otherwise it will easily lead to roof cracking. (3) Pay attention to the waterproof problem after opening the window. It is suggested that steel bars should be planted around the window opening of the roof, and concrete water retaining lines with a height of 200MM and a width of 60 mm should be poured. The installation of windows should be based on their own needs. It is suggested to use aluminum alloy frame and tempered glass with small thickness as window materials. 100MM glass edge completely covers the water retaining line of the hole. When installing, the glass should have a certain slope, which is consistent with the direction of the big slope of the roof to facilitate drainage. (4) Considering the safety problem, a stainless steel safety fence can be set. (5) When digging a hole, pay attention to the direction of the circuit in the board. (6) Choose the construction time and pay attention to the weather forecast. It is best to start construction before the rainy season.

2. Before pouring concrete on the top of the building, you can consider opening a window in the structural design, and the size of the window opening can be set according to your own needs. According to the size and location of the hole, steel bars or beams are added at the opening of the structure to strengthen the structure, so that the stress (load) of the plate surface is clear. The remaining issues that need attention are the same as above.
