Extended data

First, the creative background

These two farewell poems are considered to be the sixth year of Tianbao in Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty (747), and the farewell object is the famous pianist Dong. In the spring of that year, the official of the official department, Shangshu Fangguan, was demoted to the DPRK, and the door boy Dong also left Chang 'an. That winter, Gao Shi and Dong met in Suiyang (so the address is in the south of Shangqiu County, Henan Province) and wrote Two Poems of Biedong University.

Second, appreciate

These two poems are the farewell works of Gao Shi and Dongda after a long separation. After a short party, they parted ways. The work outlines the gloomy and cold sad scenery when seeing off, showing that the author was in a difficult situation at that time, but he was not depressed or sinking. It not only showed the author's reluctant farewell to his friends, but also showed the author's heroic and open-minded mind.

Three. Brief introduction of the author

Gao Shi (704-765) was born in Bohai Guo (now Jingxian County, Hebei Province) and later moved to Song Cheng, Songzhou (now Suiyang, Shangqiu, Henan Province). Anton is the grandson of Gao Kan, a minister and poet in the Tang Dynasty. He used to be an assistant minister of punishments, a regular servant of scattered riding, and was named Hou of Bohai County, known as Gao Chang's in the world. Yu Yongtai died in the first month of the first year, and was given a gift by the ministers of the Ministry of Rites, posthumous title.

"Bold and tragic" is the remarkable feature of Gao Shi's frontier poems. His poems are quality-oriented, magnificent and simple. Lofty and lonely, he has the spirit of a ranger. He once roamed Liang and Song Dynasties and devoted himself to self-sufficiency. In addition, he is generous and upright, so his poems reflect a wide range of aspects and profound themes. Gao Shi's psychological structure is extensive, and his personality is straightforward, so his poems often express his mind directly, or talk to each other, and rarely use metaphors.
