The weather can't be refreshed

Please try the following methods to solve the problem:

1. The weather cannot be updated automatically. It is invalid to enter the weather interface and manually pull down the update. The interface displays the previous weather (a few hours ago or a day ago) or prompts "Weather information has expired".

The cause of the problem:

HuAccuwei's own weather forecast is to obtain data from ACCUWeather, a third-party service provider. It may be because the AccuWeather server is abnormal, which leads to the untimely weather update.

If the weather in the current location can't be updated automatically, it may be that the positioning switch is turned off, so that the application can't get the user's location information, and thus can't get the local weather information.

Solution:

We suggest you try the following methods:

Open location service: EMUI9.0 version 9.0, go to settings > security and privacy > location service, and turn on the switch to access my location information. Other versions confirm whether the location service is turned on, and choose to use GPS, WLAN and mobile network.

Try to switch network connection: If the currently connected WLAN cannot be updated, try to switch to 4G traffic data refresh; If the 4G traffic data cannot be refreshed, try to switch to WLAN.

Please clear the data first, then add your city again and try again. The operation method is as follows:

EMUI4。 X & 5.x: Settings > Application Management > Weather > Storage, delete data, empty the cache, re-enter the weather, click on the upper left corner, and then add a city.

EMUI8。 X: settings > applications and notifications > application management > weather > storage, delete data, empty the cache, re-enter the weather, click on the upper left corner, and then add a city.

EMUI9.0: Settings > Application > Application Management > Weather > Storage, delete data, empty the cache, re-enter the weather, click on the upper right corner, select the management city, and then add the city.

If the above methods still can't be solved, please provide the following information, and we will feedback it to Accu for confirmation:

City/region information with abnormal weather.

Enter the weather interface and manually pull down to update once, and then pull down to see if the last update time is consistent with the system time.

Second, the weather is not updated, including the weather data is not updated, the weather position is not updated, and manual refresh cannot be updated.

The cause of the problem:

In the process of weather update, due to the abnormal exit of the program (cleaning the background application and restarting the mobile phone), the update failed, so it is necessary to delete the weather data, restart the weather application and add the city again.

Solution:

Enter? Settings > Application > Application Management > Weather > Store, delete data and empty cache;

Re-enter the weather application and add cities.

Remarks:

When the weather automatic updating condition is met, it can be automatically updated without entering the weather application.

Huawei's mobile phone weather data are all from weather providers. At present, the weather supplier we cooperate with is AccuWeather.

"China Weather Link" is the brand of AccuWeather in China. At the end of 20 17, an agreement was reached with suppliers on data source display:

The name of weather data source in China version of EMUI8.0 and above has been changed from "Accuweather" to "China Weather Chain".

The name of weather data source in emui4.1/emui5.0/5.1version weather still uses "AccuWeather".

This modification is just a name change, and the data source is still the same. Please feel free to use.

Due to the user privacy protection requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in EMUI9.0, applications are not allowed to obtain user location information when the location switch is turned off, so the location switch must be turned on in EMUI 9.0 to update the current location weather.
