Song Wanshen Temple
From Cuiping Peak to the east, cross Huanxiling and Xianren Bridge to Song Wan Temple.
Song Wan Temple is the largest temple character in Panshan Mountain. Originally named Li Jing 'an, it was named to commemorate Li Jing, a famous figure who lived here in the early Tang Dynasty. Later, I felt that it was not appropriate to call my predecessors by their first names, so I changed it to Gong Weian. Ming Shenzong Zhu Yijun inscribed the word "pure heart" for this temple. Later, because the pine trees beside the temple were all over the mountain, Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty gave him the "Song Wan Temple".
There is a five-story hexagonal brick tower in front of Song Wan Temple. There are carved towers, guardrails and fake doors and windows on the tower. A five-story tower is embedded in every corner of the first floor. There is a pine tree at the top of the tower, which is very interesting.
In front of the Pantheon in the Song Dynasty, stands a camel stone in the shape of a camel. On the wall next to the gate, there are five square stones engraved with "JD First Mountain". COM”。
Song Wan Temple was destroyed by the Japanese war. However, the stone foundation of the Buddhist temple and the rebuilt Li Jing 'an monument are well preserved. Now, the Song Pantheon has been restored.
In the disaster year, there is a big pot in the temple to hold porridge. According to the surviving temples and temples, 16 people can sit in this cauldron and play cards. Unfortunately, this pot was destroyed by the "big steelmaking" movement of 1958.
In the Song Wan Temple dedicated to Buddha statues, there is also the Lu Zu Hall dedicated to Taoist Lv Dongbin. It is said that Mrs Song Wan Temple was killed by Lv Dongbin with a feather fan. To the east of Song Wan Temple, there is the former site of Wanghailou. To the north of Wanghai Building is the tomb and tower of Zen master Zhao Pu.
From the mountain road in the northwest of Song Wan Temple, you can reach the sword stage at the western end of Qingsongling. This is the place where the famous Tang Dynasty Li Jing danced swords. Standing on the sword platform, I looked at the twin peaks in the north, the cockroaches in the west, the plains in the south and the moon peak in the east. Recalling the majestic posture of patriotic generals dancing swords here in those days, it is amazing to look around the magnificent scene in front of us.
Zhaoyun Temple and Dingguang Pagoda
These two historic sites are hung on the Moon Peak, the main peak of Panshan Mountain. Starting from Song Wan Temple, take photos on the path behind the Zen Master Tower, or walk along the ridge from the sword-dancing platform, and pass the Jiangjun Stone, Taoyuan Cave and the stone gate that sealed the cave, and then you can reach the foot of Hangyue Peak.
Zhaoyun Temple is embedded in the cliff. Built in the Tang Dynasty, formerly known as Longjiang Temple, it is the highest temple word in Panshan Mountain. There is a stone path to the east of the upper floor of Zhaoyun Temple, which is extremely steep for one person to climb. Climb up the "panting rock" and see the five stone characters "All other mountains look short under the sky". . Continue to climb, that is, the main peak of Panshan Mountain hangs the moon peak.
Guayue Peak is 864 meters above sea level. Its peak is sharp and looks like a cone. Ren Li stands at the top of the mountain, overlooking the mountains and canyons, leaning against Yanshan Mountain in the north and winding the Great Wall; On the south bank of Bohai Sea, the land is like brocade. Dingguang stupa stands on the peak of the hanging moon. The tower is a key cultural relic protection unit in Tianjin. It was founded in the Tang Dynasty. The tower is a three-stage octagon, steep and straight, soaring into the sky, and consists of a base sumeru, a tower body, a phase wheel and a tower brake. There are three niches embedded under the eaves of the tower. There are 60 relics and a Buddha tooth in the tower. Legend has it that every year on New Year's Eve, or at other months' nights, Buddha lanterns float from the direction of Tongzhou Gushan Pagoda or other directions, circling the peak and stopping at the bottom of the pagoda, hence the name Dingguang Pagoda. Is this Buddha lamp a comet or a flying saucer? People can't see it, but it's a miracle.
Ancient Zhongpan Temple Site and Stone Pagoda Forest
From Panshan Mausoleum to the north, after Panshan Middle Road (built in Wei and Jin Dynasties) and North Shaolin Temple next to Duobao Pagoda, you can reach the ruins of ancient Zhongpan Temple and Shitalin. That is the key cultural relics protection unit in Jixian County.
The ancient Pan Shou was founded in the Tang Dynasty, and it was renamed Dharma Institute during the Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. During the Anti-Japanese War, it was one of the base areas of the Eighth Route Army in Jidong. These pagodas are all carved from granite, and generally consist of three huge stones, all of which are very small in shape. The monk's name is engraved on the tower in the middle. The tower is square, hexagonal or Lama's belly. Some have eaves, and some have no eaves; Some are solid and some are hollow. Colorful, patchwork, seedlings are wonders.
Qianxiangsi
From Panshan Martyrs Cemetery to the east, you can reach Qianxiang Temple through the residual wall of the original Gyeonggi Mountain Villa. This is also a key cultural relics protection unit in Tianjin.
Ganxiang Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty. There are more than a thousand statues of Buddha carved in the Tang Dynasty, a lecture hall monument built by thousands of statues of Panshan Temple in the Liao Dynasty and the site of Yuxiang Temple. On the boulder rock wall around the temple, there are hundreds of connected carved Buddha statues, which are two meters high, generally about 1.5 meters. One group has three or four Buddha statues, and some are exclusive to one stone. The Buddha statue has a plump face, dignified manners, broad crown, Buddha's light on its back and lotus flowers on its feet, which has the artistic style of Tang Dynasty.
Liao Dynasty's "Creation of Lecture Hall Monument of Panshan Thousand Elephants Orange Pond Temple" is located in Xiangsi. Height 3 meters, width: meters. The four corners of the monument are carved with dragons, which are lifelike. The inscription on the front of the monument is vigorous and handsome, and it is known as "JD's first monument". COM”。 The inscription records the development of Jizhou and Panshan in Liao Dynasty, the construction of Ganxiang Temple and its name.
There is also a Buddha statue carved by connecting lines on the "Rocking Stone" on the cliff behind the Thousand Elephant Temple. There is a cave beside the stone. There is a relief sitting Buddha in it, about two meters high. This is the only preserved grotto in Tianjin.
