How many people are affected by wind, hail and flood in parts of Heilongjiang?

On July 18 and 19, heavy rainfall, strong wind and hail occurred in some areas of Heilongjiang Province. The 24-hour maximum rainfall in Chonghe Town, wuchang city is 222mm, and hailin city 124mm. As a result, eight cities, including Harbin, Mudanjiang, Jixi, Shuangyashan, Yichun, Qitaihe, Hegang and Suihua 16 counties (cities, districts) and four forestry bureaus suffered floods, wind and hail disasters.

According to preliminary statistics, 52,800 people were affected and 356 people were resettled. The affected area of crops was 20.9 thousand hectares, and the crop harvest area was 0.7 thousand hectares, which damaged houses 174 and caused direct economic losses of 67.66 million yuan. Among them, the Weihe Forestry Bureau in shangzhi city was seriously affected, which once caused the roads in Liu Shan, Yulin and Chonghe forest farms to be blocked, and the power and communication were interrupted.

After the disaster occurred, Heilongjiang quickly took effective measures to carry out rescue work and launched emergency plans in time. Hailin, Wuchang, Shangzhi, Weihe Forestry Bureau and other places have launched emergency rescue plans to urgently transfer and resettle the affected people to ensure their lives.

For the three forest farms where traffic was blocked and communication was interrupted, an advance team was sent to make a detour to understand the situation. As of July 20th, 1 1, there was no news of casualties or missing, and relief workers entered 1 forest farm.
