As most volunteers are office workers, they are usually very busy at work. Recently, we organized a series of "warm winter activities" to help the disabled and respect the elderly during the weekend break!

1 65438+1October1morning, more than a dozen volunteer representatives, including He Zhihong, Gao Zhuoqiang and Wang Hongcui, came to Nanzhaoyu Village, Yangze Township, Zanhuang County, with rice, noodles, cooking oil, eggs and quilts donated by everyone, to visit five widowed and sick people in the village. Some of these families are elderly people who take care of their mentally retarded daughters. There is no other source of income except planting two acres of corn. Some are old and childless, living on government benefits, and some are old and return to poverty due to illness! The goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way in 2020 and getting rid of poverty in an all-round way has basically been achieved. The lives of poor households in these mountainous areas can basically be guaranteed, and they also need further care from caring people! Material help is on the one hand, especially spiritual comfort to them, which can complement the government's poverty alleviation work!

This time, our senior volunteers, Gao Yiren and Li, brought their younger brothers to participate in the condolence activities! There are three other children in the team, who are affectionately called "love gourd baby". At every house, the dolls are busy carrying oil, rice and quilts. Those who didn't help are still crying! Wang Hongcui, a volunteer representative, said that bringing the children here is also to let the dolls know more about society, cultivate a kind heart from an early age, and be brave enough to assume personal, family and social responsibilities in the future!
