What's the air pressure today?
Air pressure characteristics
Air pressure is the atmospheric pressure acting on the unit area, that is, it is numerically equal to the gravity exerted on the unit area by the vertical air column extending upward to the upper limit of the atmosphere. The famous experiment in Madburg Hemisphere proved its existence. The international unit of air pressure is Pascal, and the symbol of Pa for short is PA.
In meteorology, people generally use kilopascals (kPa) or hectopascals (hpa) as units. Other commonly used units are bar, 1 bar is equal to 100000 pa and cm Hg, or cm Hg. Air pressure changes not only with height, but also with temperature, and the change of air pressure is closely related to the weather.
