Introduction of scenic spots

The scenic spot is famous for the oldest "scar" on the earth-the cliff crack formed by the violent movement of the earth's crust, and has the reputation of "the first dynamic canyon in China". The natural drop of the scenic spot is1380m, and the original ecological rift valley and karst landform are10km. The forest coverage rate of the scenic spot is over 92.7%, the average temperature in summer is as low as 22 degrees Celsius, and the content of negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter exceeds 3,000. Wuling rift valley is located in the east of the lower reaches of Wujiang River. It is connected with Shuanghe Township in the east of Wulong County, and forms Fuling Wuling Mountain Tourist Resort with Bai Tao Street, Wuling Mountain National Forest Park and Damuhua Valley in the northeast of Fuling District.

Main attraction

Baodaoling: a huge stone wall with a length of about 1000m and an average height of about 90m from the top to the bottom. It belongs to the late Permian Changxing Formation limestone of Paleozoic era 260 million years ago, and it is a vivid classroom to experience the vicissitudes of marine relics hundreds of millions of years ago.

Qingtian Gorge: Located in the lower part of the scenic canyon, it is1500m long and 2-5m wide. This is the so-called natural crack. The cliffs on both sides of the canyon are 200-300 meters high, and there is only faint sunshine when you look up. There are many strange stones and stalactites in the cracks. In some places, two steep cliffs are only a few feet apart, which can bring shocking visual impact to the viewer. In the process of exploration, the spirit is absorbed by the gods, and the feeling of seclusion and elegance arises spontaneously.

Zhang Wan Pit: Located at the end of Qingtianxia Rift Valley, it is the entrance of an underground river. The diameter of this hole is about ten meters. Water from Wuling Rift Valley (Shi Jia Gully) flows into this cave after passing through Qingtianxia Rift Valley. Brown, the captain of the British expedition, came here twice and explored in 1000 potholes for four days and four nights, but neither of them reached the finish line. The waterfall formed by the underground river in the cave is 34m high and 30m wide, which is the highest underground river waterfall found in China at present.
