Deng Zhonghua said that Japan's representations to the Chinese side regarding the China administration's announcement of the baseline of the Diaoyu Islands' territorial waters were totally futile, absurd and unreasonable, and China would never accept them. It is illegal for Japan to engage in so-called "island purchase" or other acts on the Diaoyu Islands. This farce directed and staged by Japan is invalid from the legal point of view and ridiculous from the common sense. No matter how you justify and whitewash it, you can't hide the basic fact that Japanese illegally buy and sell China territory. China is naturally strongly opposed to this.

Deng Zhonghua finally reiterated that Diaoyu Island is China's inherent territory, and the relevant actions taken by China are entirely within China's sovereignty.
