Damuyang, Maotouyang, Yushan and Chen Da Fishing Ground

Three fishing grounds in Xiangshan sea area

Damuyang Fishing Ground: Located in the eastern and central waters of the county, it starts from Luanjiao Ocean in the north, reaches jiusan Islands in the east, Tantoushan Island in the south, and reaches the mainland coast in the west. The total area is about1840m2.

Maotouyang Fishing Ground: Located in the southeast and south of the county, it is connected with Yushan Fishing Ground in the east, Taizhou Bay in the south, coastline in the west and Tantoushan Island and Damuyang in the north. The total area is about 2768 square kilometers, belonging to Xiangshan, Sanmen and Linhai.

Yushan Fishing Ground: Located in the southeast of the county, with an area of about 1560 square kilometers, it is a necessary fishing ground for fishing boats from Wenzhou and Taiwan Province to go north and Zhoushan to go south.

Chen Da Fishing Ground is one of the four major fishing grounds in China and the second largest fishing ground in Zhejiang Province, which is rich in various economic fish, shrimps and crustaceans such as grouper, cuttlefish and hairtail.
