Weather similarity

The seasonal distribution of precipitation in Beijing and Guangzhou is similar (more precipitation in summer and less precipitation in winter). The reason is that (summer is affected by warm and humid summer monsoon from the ocean, and winter is affected by cold and dry winter monsoon from the inland). The difference of seasonal variation of temperature between the two places is that Beijing is cold and Guangzhou is warm in winter. The reason is that Beijing has a high latitude, which is close to the winter wind source, and the temperature drops greatly, while Guangzhou has a low latitude, which gets more solar light and heat, which is far from the winter wind source.

Guangzhou has more annual precipitation than Beijing because (Guangzhou is in the south, summer monsoon comes early and goes late, and rainy season is long);

The precipitation and temperature in the two places have the same characteristics in time, both of which are (the same period of rain and heat in summer), which is beneficial to agricultural production;

Guangzhou is rainy in May and June, so most satellite images show (white).
