Appreciation of ancient poetry in summer

Summer in the mountains

Tang Dynasty: Li Bai

Lazily shaking a white feather fan to get rid of the heat, naked in the forest.

Take off the headscarf and hang it on the rock wall, leaving the cool breeze between the pines and the pines overhead.

Appreciation and appreciation:

Summer Mountain is a five-character quatrain written by Li Bai, a romantic poet in Tang Dynasty. The scene of summer life described in the poem truly and aptly shows the summer scene in the mountains.

"lazy to shake the white feather fan, naked in the green forest." Because it is summer, there is a "white feather fan"; Because it's cold in the mountains, I'm too lazy to shake the fan. In the past, there were few people in the mountains, and poets dared to take off their headscarves, showing a carefree and informal image. Through "laziness" and "nakedness", this sentence highlights the poet's leisure in the mountains in summer and depicts a vivid picture of summer leisure.

"Take off the towel and hang the stone wall, and sprinkle the wind on the top." The poet took off his turban and hung it on the stone wall in the mountain. How cool and pleasant the weather is. Bare-chested, living under the forest, has great interest in alleviating dust and returning to nature. Through "detachment" and "dew", the poet's freedom and yearning for nature are expressed. "Ren" embodies the poet's boldness, letting the mountain wind blow over his head, showing an open-minded and hearty feeling.

The whole poem describes the author's bold, broad-minded and unrestrained image in the mountains. He is not restrained by etiquette and has Wei and Jin demeanor. The poet indulges in "Summer Mountain", enjoying himself, especially the indulgence and catharsis of personal feelings, which can be said to have reached the extreme. In Summer Mountain, feather fans can be shaken and clothes and shoes can be worn. "Naked in the green forest" and "Exposing the top to the wind" reflect the poet's carefree and close to nature. This poem highlights the summer heat by describing the poet's own state. At the same time, the hot summer environment is used to express the poet's unrestrained and unrestrained state in the mountains. In the hot summer environment, the poem vividly describes the poet's state and has a leisurely taste.

Chapter II Appreciation of Ancient Summer Poems

Summer in the mountain pavilion

Tang dynasty: high articles

Green trees, deep shadows, long summer, the reflection of the tower in the pond.

The crystal curtains are blowing gently, and the roses are fragrant.

Appreciation and appreciation:

"Trees are shaded and summer is long" seems dull, but careful consideration of the word "shade" not only makes the trees lush, but also implies that the "shade" can be "shaded" around noon in summer when the sun is like fire and the sun is scorching. This "thick" is not only a special accident of the shade, but also a deep meaning, that is, the shade is dense and deep. A Dream of Red Mansions describes the scene of the Grand View Garden at noon in midsummer, which means "the scorching sun is in the sky and trees are everywhere". Around noon in summer, people can feel that summer is very long. Yang Wanli said in "Taking a nap in early summer" that "sleeping for a long time is ruthless", which was written by me.

"The balcony is reflected in the pond." Here, the poet visually wrote down the summer and the scenery. When the poet saw the quiet pond reflecting the reflections of pavilions and pavilions far and near, he naturally felt comfortable and relaxed, and wrote such a beautiful poem. The word "into the pool" is well used. He not only writes clear and fresh, but also writes about movement. He writes about ponds, so that the mountains and rivers can accommodate the hearts of pavilions and make the ponds bigger.

"The crystal curtain moves and the breeze rises" is the most exquisite sentence in the poem. This sentence can be divided into two meanings. First, the pool water under the scorching sun is crystal clear; The breeze is blowing gently and the sea is blue. The poet used the "crystal curtain moving" to describe this scene, which is wonderful and very realistic-the whole water surface is like a curtain made of crystal, blown by the wind, and under the rippling water waves, the reflection of the balcony shakes with it, which is very wonderful. Secondly, poets who look at the scenery first see the fluctuation of the pool water and then feel the wind. Summer breeze will not be felt at once, only when you see water waves, so it is said that "the crystal curtain moves and the breeze rises." If you write "the breeze rises" first and then "the crystal curtain moves", it will be as tasteless as chewing wax.

The poet in A Rose Full of Scent in a Courtyard writes about summer from the perspective of smell. Just as the poet was intoxicated with the beautiful summer scenery, suddenly there came a burst of flowers, which was refreshing and refreshed the poet's spirit. The rose was not seen by the poet. The poet may not know that there were roses in the yard, but the intoxicating fragrance reminded the poet. In the quiet and fresh scenery of the mountain pavilion under the scorching sun in summer, "full of roses" was added, which added bright colors and intoxicating fragrance, making the works full of unique agility and vitality in summer. In addition, "A Courtyard Fragrance" has something to do with the above sentence "The breeze rises". If there is no breeze, the fragrance of roses will not float over, and poets naturally don't know that there are "full roses"

Poetry describes the summer scenery, using similar painting techniques: dark green trees, reflections on the balcony, water waves in the pond and roses on the shelf, forming a picture with bright colors and clear artistic conception. All this was described by the poet standing on the mountain pavilion. Although there are no mountain pavilions and poets in the poem, when people appreciate this poem, they seem to see mountain pavilions and leisurely poets.

Chapter III Appreciation and Appreciation of Ancient Summer Poetry

Tianjin shaxia

Yuan Dynasty: Baipu

Clouds collect rain and add waves, buildings are high and water-cooled and melons are sweet, and trees are shaded and eaves are painted. In the mosquito net in the tent, there is a girl, wearing thin silk and holding Fan Luo, quietly enjoying the pleasant summer time.

Appreciation and appreciation:

The author chose a unique angle: sketching out a peaceful summer picture. Although rhyme and harmony are not as good as Spring and Autumn, they are full of sweetness. The sex has passed, the building is high and cool, and the trees are shaded, hanging under the eaves of the corridor, trembling slightly, extremely cute. Through the cicada-thin screen window, I can vaguely see a woman wearing tulle and holding a fragrant fan lying on the rattan seat in the gauze curtain. The fan is slowly fanning, and the woman closes her eyes to sleep and enjoys the cool in the summer house. It looks so beautiful. The whole poem does not have the familiar characteristics of hot and noisy summer, but depicts a quiet and refreshing scene, which makes people relaxed and happy.

Jing Tian Shaxia is a poem written by Bai Pu, a writer in Yuan Dynasty. This song sketches a peaceful summer picture. There is no familiar hot and noisy summer in the whole poem, but it depicts a quiet and refreshing scene, which makes people relaxed and happy. The author deliberately chose a moment after the rain, turning the restless characteristics of summer into a static state: clouds gather and rain falls, and the shade of trees droops, giving people a refreshing, quiet and leisurely feeling. Thirdly, like Bai Pu's Spring in the Clear Sand, this poem can also be described from the perspective of a woman upstairs. However, in Tian Jing Sha Chun, the author focuses on the vision and hearing of the "characters" in the work, and this passage highlights an emotional experience, "a melon is cold in a tall building", which is a unique feeling in this specific situation.

Chapter IV Appreciation and Appreciation of Ancient Summer Poetry

Xia is thinking in Nange.

Tang Dynasty: Meng Haoran

The shadow of the mountain rises suddenly, and the moon in the pond rises slowly from the east.

Hang your hair in the shade at night, open the window and lie down in a quiet and spacious place.

The evening breeze sent waves of lotus fragrance, and the dew on the bamboo leaves made a crisp sound.

I thought I would want to make a song, make a song, I just hate my friends in front of me.

Feeling for a night, I miss my old friends all night, and it is hard to miss them in my dreams.

Appreciation and appreciation:

This poem is included in The Complete Poems of Tang Dynasty, Volume 159. The following is the appreciation of this poem by Zhou Xiaotian, director of Sichuan Poetry Society and professor of School of Literature and Journalism, Sichuan University.

Meng Haoran's poetry is characterized by "singing for the scenery, not catching the strange but strange" (Pi Rixiu). Although he only talks about leisure lightly, leisure often makes people better and better. Summer Thoughts in Nange is Xin's masterpiece.

The content of the poem can be divided into two parts, which describes the refreshing leisure of enjoying the cool in the Shuige on a summer night, and also expresses the nostalgia for friends.

Meng Haoran is good at capturing poetry in life. This poem is nothing more than the taste of leisure and self-satisfaction, with a little feeling of no confidant and no heavy ideological content; However, writing about feelings is implicit and poetic. Words are like flowing water, with beautiful and simple form, natural layering, and full of charm.

Chapter V Appreciation and Appreciation of Ancient Summer Poetry

Bodhisattva Xia Hui Wenxia in my heart forever

Song Dynasty: Su Shi

Liu is a quiet person who sleeps during the day, while those who sleep during the day are quiet and calm. Sweat thin shirt is cool, cool shirt is thin sweat.

Hold the red ice lotus root bowl, hold the red ice lotus root bowl. Xiao Lang lotus root silk is long, and silk lotus root smiles at Xiao Lang.

Appreciation and appreciation:

Usually palindromes mainly refer to poems that can be read backwards. Although palindrome poems can only be written by people with high ability to control words, it needs the painstaking efforts of the author, but after all, it is a word game for literati to show off their literary talent, and there are not many valuable works. There are not many palindromes in Song Ci, and there are seven Bodhisattva palindromes in Dongpo Yuefu.

Su Dongpo's palindrome consists of two sentences. The next sentence is the backward reading of the previous sentence, which is easier than the whole palindrome, so it is less bound to the author's thoughts. In Dongpo's seven replies, such as "I'm ashamed to post it, and I'm ashamed to post it", "I miss a person lightly, but I miss a person lightly", "It's not suitable to go upstairs in autumn" and "I don't hate leaving late, and I hate leaving late". Therefore, the last sentence is a supplement and development to the previous sentence, so it is a wonderful structure.

This palindrome is "Xia funeral march" in the author's Four Seasons funeral march. I wrote about sleeping during the day, and I wrote about complaining after waking up. Although the idea is not very deep, the words are beautiful and can be recited. The key to the sentence "Liu Ting" is the word "quiet". The last sentence says "the wind is quiet" and the next sentence says "people are quiet". When it's calm, the willows droop and the boudoir is sleepy and sleeps; I fell asleep during the day, and the breeze blew willow again. They all write "scenery", but they write from different angles. It's quite clever to see movement in silence and silence in movement. Three or four sentences, detailing people who sleep during the day. The wind blows sweet sweat, and the thin shirt is cold; In the cool shirt, there is a slight sweat fragrance. The change is in the words "thin shirt" and "thin sweat". Writing a thin shirt means "summer" and writing a thin sweat means charm. Starting from a "cool" string, the image of Mrs. Xia who sleeps during the day can be imagined. Watching a movie is an activity after waking up. Her ruddy hand holds a jade bowl filled with ice and lotus root, which has chilled her ruddy hand. The "ice" in the previous sentence is a noun, and the "ice" in the next sentence is a verb.

Chasing coolness on a summer night

Song Dynasty: Yang Wanli

The heat at night is still the same as that in the afternoon. Open the door and stand in the middle of the moon.

Bamboo trees are buzzing, not the wind.

Appreciation and appreciation:

The whole poem is only four sentences and twenty-eight characters. The poem puts aside the feeling of unbearable heat, only focuses on "enjoying the cool", and outlines a picture of enjoying the cool on a summer night with a few faint strokes, showing the author's incomparable love for nature.

"Chasing for coolness" means looking for coolness and taking coolness. "Chasing" can better express the desire for "cool" than "seeking" and "taking", and Du Fu's "chasing cool in the past, so walking around the trees by the pool" (the second trilogy of Qiang Village) is poetic. However, this poem is unique in artistic treatment: it puts aside the feeling of unbearable heat, only focuses on "enjoying the cool", and outlines a picture of enjoying the cool on a summer night with a few faint strokes, including bright moonlight, dense shade, swaying bamboo forests, melodious insects and the author standing quietly.

The first sentence seems straightforward, but there is actually a layer of twists and turns: the sun is exposed at noon, which is the hottest moment of the day. Now "night heat" is similar to "afternoon heat", so it can be imagined as "night heat" Only in this way can we draw an independent image of the poet under the moon. "Open the door" means that the author was in the room. Maybe he has gone to bed, but because it is hot at night, it is difficult to sleep after tossing and turning, and he is forced to go out to enjoy the cool. "Bright Moon" refers to the bright moonlight on the night of March 5th. In this way, the author's "independent" purpose should be said to be both "enjoying the cool" and "enjoying the moon". Chasing the cool can make your skin fit, and enjoying the moon can make you feel refreshed. No wonder he wants to be independent and insist.

Obviously, keeping calm in silence is the author's interest, but this interest has not been directly pointed out. Without the word "not wind", readers are likely to associate "cool" with "wind". Chen Yan's "Shi Shi Yi Shi Hua" has long pointed out: "If the last three words are covered up, it must be a guess. I wonder if it is true." However, the beauty of this poem is precisely here. The author deliberately revealed the clue of his original intention to the reader at the end. Since it is clear that it is not the wind, readers who are kind to God should think of the causal relationship between quietness and coolness. Then, it should be remembered that the moonlight, bamboo forest, shade and insects that appear in front of us are just the foreshadowing to reveal the principle of indifference in silence. This is naturally more poetic than saying the original intention directly. Perhaps this is the theme of "shallow meaning and deep meaning, straight meaning and straight meaning" advocated by "Poetry" and "Poetry Talk".

Chapter VII Appreciation and Appreciation of Ancient Summer Poetry

Early summer among guests

Song Dynasty: Sima Guang

In April of early summer, the weather was sunny and warm, and it cleared up after a rain. After the rain, the mountains were greener and more pleasant, and the mountains in the south became clearer.

There are no catkins in the wind, only sunflowers open to the sun.

Appreciation and appreciation:

By comparing the scenery in early summer, especially catkin and sunflower, the poet implied a description of his own political ambition, that is, he would never be opportunistic in politics and casually echo it, but be loyal to the emperor like sunflower. The poet compared Wang Anshi and others to "catkins" and himself to "sunflowers" to express his loyalty to the king.

"April is sunny, rainy and sunny" describes the summer in early April, when the weather is warm, just when the rain turns sunny. Through simple language, at the end of spring and the beginning of summer, a clear and warm beautiful picture after the rain jumped into the reader's field of vision.

"Households in Nanshan Clear Up" describes that after the rain, Nanshan across the street becomes clearer and greener. The poet mobilized the familiar scenery and arranged a bright and warm atmosphere, which made the whole poem full of rain and summer flavor.

"There is no catkin because of the wind" describes the scene that there is no catkin floating in the wind. This sentence is entrusted, which means that the poet is not a catkin dancing with the wind, which means that he will never be opportunistic and casually echo in politics.

"Only sunflowers are biased towards the sun" points out that sunflowers are open to the sun, which is also suppressed. Look at those little people who turn with the wind like catkins. Only sunflowers in full bloom in the sun are worthy of respect.

The whole poem describes the changing picture. Poets don't like rainy Nanshan, and they don't praise catkins dancing with the wind. Instead, he gave the unique bell to the sunflower. It is not difficult to find that the poet doesn't just love sunflowers. He is serious here. The poet has been in the officialdom for a long time, and naturally he has seen enough catkins that echo other people's opinions. He doesn't want the poet to "shake his eyebrows and bend his back" and drift with the wind. He finally chose sunflower, knowing how to cherish the sunshine. Maybe this is the loveliness of sunflowers.

Chapter VIII Appreciation and Appreciation of Ancient Summer Poetry

Midnight Wu Ge Summer Song

Tang Dynasty: Li Bai

On the mirror lake, there are more than 300 miles, all of which are Ke and Ke.

Lunatone is picking lotus here, and all the people who come to see him are very anxious.

Less than a month after returning home, she was elected to the palace.

Appreciation and appreciation:

This poem tells the story of Xi Shi Ruoye picking lotus. The first sentence of this poem is "On Jinghu Lake, lotus flowers are in full bloom." In the 300-mile-wide Jinghu Lake, when the budding lotus is in full bloom, Shi looks like a lotus picker, but her beauty and reputation have caused a sensation.

Watcher Oham Joye Creek narrows the wide Joye River, and the word "Tong" is vivid. The lively scene of crowds and ships crowding the river bank seems to appear in front of readers, which turns the imaginary writing of "Since beauty has spread all over the empire" in Wang Wei's Xi Shi Yong into a sensational portrayal of the place.

Here again, it came to an abrupt end, and Shi was no longer touched, leaving a lot of room: Gou Jian had already decided to use a honey trap to deal with Wu, and his beauty dumped all beings and caused a sensation in the local area, so he didn't have to bother to visit Yue's ministers. With this unique beauty candidate, he could become a "royal family with a sigh." The more dimensional "washing clothes at dawn by the south lake, a big lady in a palace in the north that night" has different meanings. Wang Wei's poem has a turning point, omitting the process of Gou Jian's implementation of the honey trap; Li Bai's poems were "cut off" and the result of being chosen as the concubine of Wu Palace was cut off, which also explained the meaning of "since beauty is glorious all over the empire". This kind of cutting is more implicit and implied: since he is "returning home", Gou Jian can also keep this beauty, but he restrained himself under the goal of "repaying Wu" and "revenge"; However, learning from Wu became one of the reasons for Wu's death.

Shi's Lotus Picking is not only legendary, but also reasonable in Ruoye River. As for boating in Sanbaijing Lake, it is the author's imagination. However, this kind of imagination is suspected of changing the facts, because if the clarity of Jinghu Lake is used to show the "self-examination of the beauty" of the stone, or the number of people who worship the stone is large by the water journey of 300 miles, then the next sentence "Watcher Olheim fish leaves the stream" is redundant, and it may be a slip of the pen by Li Bai.

Appreciation of ancient poetry in summer

Ruan Langgui in early summer

Song Dynasty: Su Shi

Green locust, high willow, swallow and new cicada. The wind began to enter the strings. The blue screen window is full of smoke. The sound of chess scares the day and sleeps.

After a light rain, Xiao He turned over. Liu Bloom wants it. Jade basin hands understand the spring. Zhu Qiong is broken but round.

Appreciation and appreciation:

This word represents boudoir life in early summer. The first film is about the beauty of tranquility, but from the perspective of hearing, with the silence of the sound-like environment, it forms a beautiful and quiet picture of early summer beauty; The next film is beautiful, but visually speaking, it shows the vitality of nature with silent paintings, creates a beautiful and cheerful artistic conception, looks elegant and fresh, and is full of life interest. The whole poem focuses on description, using the technique of putting pen to paper on the opposite side to describe the characters' scenery delicately, and paying attention to the cross application of scenery description, environment description and character description, which has achieved excellent artistic effect.
