D2。 The Mirror of the Sky-Chaka Salt Lake

In any open tourist attraction, some people will like it and some people will hate it. I think it depends on your attitude to see and feel.

The scenery in many places really needs specific conditions, and so does Chaka Salt Lake. When the weather is clear and the atmosphere is transparent, it must be a well-deserved "mirror of the sky". There are too many white clouds, and cloudy weather will have a direct impact. Don't expect to see the most beautiful scenery except in the best season and the best weather. Therefore, it is also a kind of edification ~ (or, self-comfort) to keep a calm heart, come calmly and actively explore the beauty of the present situation.

Chaka Salt Lake, like Ta 'er Temple, Qinghai Lake and Tianchi Lake in Mengda, is one of the "four scenic spots in Qinghai" and one of the "55 places to visit in my life" (I really have this book, which was mentioned in National Geographic magazine).

Chaka Salt Lake is the smallest of the four major salt lakes in Qaidam Basin, and it is also the earliest developed one. The salt lake is empty and flat, with strong reflection ability, just like a mirror prepared for the sky, hence the name "the mirror of the sky".

Chaka Salt Lake is sandwiched between Wanyan Tongbu Mountain, a branch of Qilian Mountain, and Wangga Xiushan Mountain, a branch of Kunlun Mountain. The two mountains are covered with snow all year round, and the snow-capped mountains are reflected on the lake, forming a magnificent and unique natural scenery of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

The scenic spot is very big, so you must park your car near the entrance of the scenic spot as far as possible, because you have to stroll all the way to the train seat to queue up after entering the scenic spot. This distance is not close and there is no shelter. On the importance of sun protection in Qinghai, even if it is cloudy, you should also protect yourself from the sun.

Walking along the lake embankment is not recommended. It's really too far, and the altitude here is not low. It's much better to sit on the sightseeing train and enjoy it all the way than to walk on the gravel road in the sun (always unable to catch your feet). The terminal of the small train is in the deep lake, which is the best viewing place of the salt lake. Don't be carried away by the fatigue along the way. You should save your greatest strength to see the most beautiful scenery and take the best photos. Don't go back by train or boat, because even if you get back to the boarding position, the scenic spot is at the gate in the other direction, and you can't go out until you pass through the small commodity snack city (this is the routine of the scenic spot to stimulate consumption). Come to Qinghai, this is a must-see place. Don't listen to others, it is king to have been there yourself.
