What should I pay attention to after the rainstorm in Henan? How to deal with the rainstorm in Henan

From July 17 to July 2 1 day, a continuous heavy precipitation weather process occurred in Henan Province, with heavy rains in all parts of the province, heavy rains in the north-central part and heavy rains in some parts. According to incomplete statistics, since 16, this round of heavy rainfall has affected 560 towns and villages in 89 counties of Henan province 1240737 people, and 25 people were killed and 7 people lost contact due to extreme rainstorm. Emergency evacuation 16325 people and emergency resettlement 1647 10 people in the whole province. From the afternoon of 19 to the 20th, heavy rain began to fall in Luoyang and its surrounding counties, and the estimated precipitation was above 100 mm. Many roads in Luoyang were almost flooded, especially in Ruyang County and Yanshi District. At present, the Water Resources Department of Henan Province decided to upgrade the level II emergency response of flood control and drought relief to level I emergency response at 02: 30 on July 2 1 day. Because of the sudden and concentrated rainstorm, the precipitation exceeds the urban drainage capacity in a short time, which is easy to cause urban waterlogging. At this time, in addition to safety issues, we should also be careful to contact stagnant water and cause diseases.

Causes of water-borne diseases

There are rainwater, garbage, septic tanks and even hospital sewage in the stagnant water, which may contain a large number of pathogenic microorganisms such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Shigella, rotavirus, calicivirus and adenovirus, as well as parasites such as Entamoeba histolytica, Giardia, hookworm, roundworm, pinworm and tapeworm. People may have symptoms such as diarrhea and dermatitis after contacting with stagnant water.

After the stagnant water recedes, if the cleaning and disinfection are not in place, it is easy to cause various infections if it comes into contact with the environment/articles soaked in stagnant water.

When the water recedes,

Avoid direct contact with stagnant water.

_ Wear high-top rain boots when swimming;

Wear rubber gloves when cleaning underwater objects and environment;

After direct contact with stagnant water, the contact parts should be washed with unpolluted tap water immediately.

Cleaning and disinfection of articles and environment

First of all, it is necessary to clean up the flooded items and environment, and remove debris and silt;

Wipe the surface of articles and mop the floor with disinfectant containing 500mg/L effective chlorine, such as the surface of large environmental objects, or spray disinfection with sprayer;

After washing tableware, boil it for disinfection 15min, or soak it in disinfectant containing 250mg/L available chlorine for 30min.

Towels, clothes, sheets and other fabrics can be soaked in disinfectant containing 250mg/L effective chlorine for 30 minutes after cleaning.

Contaminated fresh fruits and vegetables can be soaked in disinfectant containing available chlorine 100mg/L for 10min, and washed with clean water after disinfection.

note:

Disinfectant containing 500mg/L available chlorine: 1 5% 84 disinfectant plus 99 parts of water, or 500mg other chlorine-containing disinfectants plus 1L water;

Disinfectant containing 250mg/L of available chlorine: 1 5% 84 disinfectant plus 199 water, or 250mg of other chlorine-containing disinfectants plus 1L water.

Disinfectant containing available chlorine 100mg/L: 1 5% 84 disinfectant plus 499 parts water, or 100mg other chlorine-containing disinfectants plus 1L water.

Matters needing attention

The external environment is mainly decontaminated, and key areas such as resettlement sites for victims, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, bazaars and other crowded places are disinfected after decontamination.

When the fabric is disinfected with chlorine-containing disinfectant, in order to prevent the fabric from being bleached, the disinfectant with the required concentration should be prepared first, and then the fabric should be soaked in the disinfectant;

When boiling for disinfection, the articles should be completely immersed in water, and the time should be started after boiling; When adding items in the middle, you should restart the timing after adding the last item.

Chlorine-containing disinfectants such as 84 are corrosive and bleaching. Wear gloves when preparing disinfectant and keep ventilation.

After reaching the disinfection time, the disinfected articles should be washed or wiped with clear water to remove the residual disinfectant on the disinfected articles;

"Ten Needs and Ten Taboos" of Post-disaster Health

Drink boiled water instead of raw water. Drinking water is easy to be polluted after flood, and boiling disinfection is the simplest and most effective;

Food should be cooked thoroughly, and don't eat raw and cold food;

Eat fresh, not bad, eat wild mushrooms;

Wash your hands before and after meals, and don't spit and urinate everywhere;

Do a good job in environmental disinfection, fly killing, mosquito killing and rodent control, and don't let mosquitoes and flies breed;

Garbage and ruins should be buried and cleaned up in time, and drowned poultry and livestock meat should not be eaten;

Do a good job of environmental disinfection, and don't let the dirty smell bother you;

To prevent heatstroke, colds and mosquito bites, don't be greedy;

Seek medical attention in time if you are sick, and don't avoid medical superstition;

Report infectious diseases in time and don't hide information. Anyone who finds infectious diseases and diseases of unknown causes has the obligation to report to the local medical and health units so as to investigate and deal with them in time.
