1. Tianyi Pavilion Museum is located on the west bank of Yuehu Lake in Ningbo, and it is the location of Tianyi Pavilion, the oldest existing private library in China. Crossing the bridge from Putuo is Taogong Island in the west of the lake. It is a popular barbecue place in the local area, suitable for a group of people to do activities such as expansion. If time is tight, foreign tourists don't have to visit it specially.

As the hometown of Chiang Kai-shek, Xikou itself is somewhat mysterious. Xikou Scenic Area has complete tourist facilities, and there are green tourist buses between Xikou Passenger Station, Wulingmen and the tourist distribution center. Chiang Kai-shek's hometown is in the town. To Xuedou Mountain Scenic Area, you can take a bus to the tourist distribution center, where you can transfer to Green sightseeing bus (included in Xuedou Mountain Scenic Area and unified ticket, you can take it unlimited times) to Sanyintan, and then start the tour of Xuedou Mountain.

6. Xuedou Mountain Scenic Area is located in Xikou Scenic Area, which mainly includes Xuedou Mountain and Xuedou Temple. Beautiful scenery on the mountain, fresh air, waterfalls and streams are all worth seeing. Xuedou Temple at the foot of the mountain and Maitreya Buddha statue outdoors are the most eye-catching. It usually takes half a day to visit Xuedou Mountain, and it is very convenient to walk with sightseeing bus, cableway and transportation.

Take a bus to Sanyintan at Xuedou Mountain Tourism Distribution Center, and visit Shangyintan, Zhongyintan and Xiayintan in turn. This is the best part of Xuedou Mountain. A small stream forms three ponds in the canyon, especially on sunny days, and you may see a rainbow at Xiayintan. It takes about 2 hours to visit Sanyintan, because there is no cableway to Miaogaotai at 16:00, so you should go up the mountain at least before 13:30, or you will miss several scenic spots when you go back.

At sightseeing bus West Railway Station near Xiayintan, you can take a sightseeing train to the huge Qianzhangyan Waterfall, and then transfer to the cableway.

7. Yuehu Lake is a crescent lake in the center of Ningbo. It used to be the urban landscape where scholars sat and talked during the Song and Ming Dynasties, and now it is the most important green lung in Ningbo. Although it is not as famous as Hangzhou West Lake, its status in Ningbo is just like Hangzhou West Lake. The lake is dotted with quadrangles and old houses, and walking on weekends is very leisurely.

There are islands such as Fangcaozhou, Liuting, Song Dao and Zhou Juhua in Yuehu Lake, some of which are connected by bridges, while others are completely connected by land. A canal surrounds the village, and women can be seen washing clothes and children playing by the river. Jiangbei Catholic Church, located in the north of Sanjiangkou, is one of the most famous churches in Ningbo and a striking landmark in the old Bund area. The history of this church can be traced back to the Qing Dynasty and witnessed the history of missionary activities in the port city of Ningbo.
