Shi Jiepeng, born in 1971 in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, has a doctorate in literature. He currently works at the Institute of Ancient Books and Traditional Culture at Beijing Normal University, where he mainly studies paleography, exegesis and unearthed literature. Published literary and artistic works include: long historical novels "Ting Zhang Xiaowu", "The Story of Ying Qi", "The Gambler Chen Tang", "Red Cliff", "Hu Ben Pavilion", long historical essays "The Rule of Wenjing", and other publications in newspapers and periodicals across the country.
