How to overcome the adverse environment caused by temperature inversion

The influencing factors:

1. Geographical location: Mid-latitude areas are more likely to produce subsidence inversions. In areas with latitude ±30°, dry air sinks, compresses and self-heats, with more sunny days and less rain. 3. Weather factors: When there are few clouds at night, the ground heat dissipates faster, and the temperature drop rate also increases. This is because the difference between the ground temperature and the upper air temperature decreases, and radiation appears the next morning. The likelihood of temperature inversion is also reduced. Precipitation weather will reduce the probability of temperature inversion, and foggy weather will increase the probability of temperature inversion.

4. Terrain conditions: When there are many valleys and hills, the cold air at night is stagnant in the valleys and does not pass through with the upper-level hot air flow. The conditions for the formation of temperature inversion are locally met, which will more easily lead to the occurrence of temperature inversion. In coastal areas, cold air from the sea blows into the inland, causing the temperature inversion layer to narrow, and then a temperature inversion occurs on the coastal surface.
