What about Yunmen Mountain?
The "Sanyuan Station" and "Three Immortals and Jade Maiden Temple" on the mountain are the remains of several generations of historical storms. The Fairy and Jade Maiden Hall at the top of the mountain is a typical all-stone, beamless Ming Dynasty building with exquisite workmanship. The recently restored "Wangshou Pavilion" and the east-west "Langfeng Pavilion" have added new fun to tourists. There are not only Buddhist caves in Yunmen Mountain, but also rare "Taoist caves". There is a stone statue of Chen Tuan, the leader of Taoism in the Song Dynasty. According to legend, it is also a symbol of longevity. Auspicious things come from the word "big birthday" on the mountain. Therefore, the common people have a saying: "Touch Chen Tuan's head, never worry, touch Chen Tuan, never get sick". So many tourists, for good luck, have polished the head and hair of Chen Tuan's bodhi old zu.
The ultimate goal of visiting Yunmen Mountain is to celebrate the birthday. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Daigui, the second king of Heng, celebrated his birthday. He was in charge of Jiyang and carved the word "longevity" on the cliff under the mountain shade, which is rare at home and abroad, in order to please Heng Wang. The big word "shou" is rigorous and dignified. It faces north, 7.5 meters high and 3.7 meters wide. The word "inch" under the word "shou" alone is as high as 2.23 meters. Therefore, local people often say: "Man is one inch taller", "Life is not as good as Nanshan" and "Life in the south is not as good as that in the north". There are many wonderful legends and allusions circulating in Yunmen Mountain, as well as the word "longevity". Yunmen Mountain is 408 meters above sea level. Visitors can climb the stairs, go to the extreme, and stand on the "longevity", which can make you think a lot.
Yunmen Mountain, one of the first provincial-level scenic spots announced by Shandong provincial government 1985, is located 2.5km south of Qingzhou, with an altitude of 421m. The plain digs the ground and loosens the shade to cover the feet. Although the mountain is not high, it has the potential of thousands of miles. It has been a famous mountain in central Shandong since ancient times. The main peak has a big cloud top and a hole like a door, which is high and wide, connecting the north and the south, and looks like a high-hanging mirror from a distance. In summer and autumn, clouds are lingering and pass through the hole, such as rolling waves, supported by temples on the top of the mountain, looming and illusory, which is called "Cloud Gate" or "Cloud Gate Wonderland". The ancient "Eight Scenes of Qingzhou" was called "Cloud Gate Arch Wall". When you climb to the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the magnificent scenery of "camel ridge Chihiro", "splitting the peak and setting sun" and "three mountains are green and the city is picturesque" On the southwest side of Yunmen Cave, the main peak, there is a natural sinkhole, which is unfathomable. When the air pressure is low, steam often comes out, which is called "cloud hole".
Yunmen Mountain has long been valued by celebrities of all ages. There are cliff stone carvings and stone tablets of literati and celebrities all over the mountain. Cloud Gate Wonderland has always been favored by both Buddhism and Taoism. During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Buddhism flourished and became a resort for Buddhist disciples. According to the New Book of the Tang Dynasty, in July of the first year of the Tang Dynasty (AD 690), Faming, a Buddhist monk, compiled a Great Cloud Sutra for Wu Zetian, saying that Wu Zetian was a Maitreya Buddha in the West and should replace the Tang Dynasty as the master of the world. Wu Zetian, who is obsessed with power, certainly appreciates it. She immediately ordered the publication of Dayun Jing in the world, and ordered the construction of Dayun Temple in Chang 'an, Luoyang and other states. Now the inscription of "Dayun Temple in Yunmen Mountain" on the cliff in front of Yunmen Mountain is still vivid. Yidu County Records also includes "longxing temple, in the northwest corner of the city. Wuping in Northern Qi Dynasty was granted Nanyang Temple for four years. In the first year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty, it was renamed Changle, also known as Daozang. It was renamed Dayun every two years, and the name of Longxing began in the eighteenth year of Xuanzong Kaiyuan. " It can be seen that the name of Dayun Temple originated from Wu Zetian. At that time, Dayun Temple in Qingzhou was the original Nanyang Temple. During the Jingtai period of the Ming Dynasty, Dayun Temple behind Yunmen Mountain moved to the southern foot of the mountain. Now in the valley in front of Yunmen Mountain, the remains of Dayun Temple still exist.
The main peak Yunmen Mountain's main peak is called Ding Dayun, which is shaped like a fish ridge, east-west and has many temples and palaces. On the top of the mountain, there is a palace of "Dongyue Emperor", which is dedicated to the mother of Mount Tai. Langfeng Pavilion is built on the east and west sides, and the Panshan stone steps are 968. Yunmen Mountain Fairy Jade Temple, Wangshou Pavilion, red walls and blue tiles are antique and magnificent.
Located on the mountainside of the North Pole, Wangshou Pavilion consists of a main pavilion, an east wing, a west wing and a hanging flower door. In the pavilion, looking up at Nanshan, I just saw the word "longevity", hence the name Wangshou Pavilion.
Located at the top of the mountain, Xianyu Temple is a stone building without beams, with unique structure and unique style in architectural history. There is a statue of Taishan's old mother in the temple. ?
Statues of Yunmen Mountain There are 5 grottoes and 272 statues on the sunny slope of Yunmen Mountain. Although these statues have experienced vicissitudes of life, wind and rain erosion and war looting for more than 1000 years, most of them are still basically intact, and now they have become extremely precious physical materials for studying ancient Buddhist art and plastic arts at that time. They are a wonderful flower in the existing grottoes in eastern China. The statues are mainly the three saints in the west (Amitabha and Guanyin, two bodhisattvas in the general trend), as well as the statues of Lux and Sakyamuni, as well as the portraits of the providers. Most of these stone statues are accompanied by accurate dating. Only in the first grotto, there are more than 0 inscriptions 10, such as "Nine years, Ten years, Eighteen years and Two years of Renshou".
There is a giant cliff stone carving "Shou" in Yunmen, which is rare at sea. People call it "Cloud Gate Life", which was written by Ji Yang in the ninth day of September in the thirty-ninth year of Jiajing in Daming. Zhou Quan carved it for Wang Heng's birthday, which means "Longevity is better than Nanshan". Zhou Quan was the general manager of Hengwangfu (the official in charge of palace meals) during Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, and he was good at talking. Yunmen Mountain left behind many of his works. The word "shou" is 7.5 meters high and 3.7 meters wide, and the word "inch" at the bottom is 2.22 meters high, which is beyond the reach of a big man, so there is a local joke that "people are not as tall as inches". There is a saying in Qingzhou, one worships birthday, the other worships Buddha, and the third worships honest officials. In recent years, many Chinese and foreign tourists have made it their greatest wish to spend their birthday in Yunmen Mountain.
On the east side of Yunmen Mountain back of Wanchun Cave, there is also "Wanchun Cave" excavated in Jiyang. The cave is 1.6m high, 1.2m wide and 5m deep. In the south of the cave, there is a stone statue of Chen Tuan, an old man sleeping with a pillow. Above the head of the stone statue in Chen Tuan, there is a poem "Song of Mountain Dwelling" inscribed by Xue Kun, a hermit in the Ming Dynasty: The wild stone bed opens into the sky, and the hat is placed in the east. Late at night, white clouds rise, and Mo Guanlong comes to sleep under the couch. His poems are bold and unconstrained, and his fonts are vigorous and powerful. Xue Xiu, a hermit in Ming Dynasty, was born in Qixian County, Henan Province. His surname is Su Mingzhou, and his road number is Xuexiu. He lived in Qingzhou for several years and had contacts with Hengwang. Drink too much, drink too little, laugh and curse the maharaja after getting drunk, and people insult him regardless. He is good at writing big characters, and his writing is vigorous. At present, there are six ink marks he left on Yunmen Mountain, such as "God is there", "Beyond dust and dreams" and "Wonderful workmanship". These works are rare masterpieces of calligraphy. There is also a poem written by Jiang Hangu in the Ming Dynasty, "Jun Mian makes me drunk, I am drunk from Jun Mian Middle School, and those who wake up move in succession, and are not allowed to close their arms", which is well-known and intriguing. Outside the cave, there are other monuments such as "Cool Book Desk" and "Fairy Footprints".
