We used to choose the best cotton when we got married, that is, cotton that bloomed in the middle period. At this time, the cotton was white, big and dense, and the quilt was thick and warm.

In those years, when I got married, I had several cotton beds, which made me feel very happy and a very unique thing. With the continuous upgrading of quilts in recent years, the previous quilts (space quilts, silk quilts and duvets) have become some burdens in my life. I can't bear to lose them, and they still occupy the space at home, which is a headache.

When I got married, I made four quilts at home, two of 12 Jin and two of 8 Jin. My wife also brought me two beds weighing eight pounds, except that the child wet the bed and wasted one bed, leaving two quilts weighing eight pounds, and the rest were reprocessed by her wife.

Dismantle several quilts, each weighing three kilograms, plus two kilograms of empty cotton at home, and find a processing workshop to process the quilts again, so that the quilts made are light and warm.

In the present family, two children have two beds, parents have one bed, and guests have to reserve a bed. There are not many quilts. If they are all put together, it may be a joke.

Our quilts are basically put in the storage cabinet at the top of the wardrobe. My wife bought several compressible storage bags online and put them in the storage bags to pump out the air, which does not take up space.

Old quilts are quite versatile.

1. Renovation. I don't know if you have any quilts that are specially renovated there. Some of our small workshops that make quilts support the renovation of quilts, that is, they tear them down and make them again. Like the previous quilt, the cotton wool is better, and it is warmer and softer after renovation, which is almost the same as the new one.

2. Make a quilt. The quilt will be very tired when it is heavy, and it will save land, be warm and soft. You can also make quilts in summer, just put the mat on the quilt.

3. Make hand-made fillers. If you don't like it and are not good at it, you can make something simple and practical, such as pillows and cushions. To fill, you have to take the quilt apart a little, or it will be filled in a ball.

4. Donate. Recently, many communities have places to recycle old clothes, which are needed in many poor areas.
