How do you evaluate the girl anime Ladybug Reddy?

"Ladybug Reddy" is a magical adventure animation released in 2016. It is mainly produced in France and co-produced by many countries. It can be found online in Mandarin, English and other dubbing styles. The first season has a rating of 8.1 on iQiyi and a popularity of 2118. The performance is remarkable, and the second season is also very good. But in my personal opinion, its actual quality is even better than the score. Specifically, I look at the plot, pictures, and soundtrack.

1. The plot is 8.5 points (out of 10 points). The anime begins with a girls' tryout, telling the story of the failed girls' negative emotions that attract the villain Black Butterfly, and then the heroine Ladybug Reddy and the hero Black Cat Noir use magical energy to protect the city. In addition to the main line of justice defeating evil, the story also embeds two hidden lines: the vague emotions of the male and female protagonists, and the exposure of the true identities of the two heroes. The overall setting is that the girl is full of heart, her imagination is quite good, and her emotional lines are quite interesting, but there are too many plots about identity exposure, which makes it inevitably boring to watch.

2. The screen score is 9.5 points. The animation is a standard American style, and the character style is exactly the same as "The Incredibles" and "Alita"; the whole film is full of colorful colors, and the designs of ladybugs and black cats are fresh and cute, which is just right for girls. The character movements are very smooth and the fight scenes are very careful. Even boys can enjoy watching them. Objectively speaking, its picture production is indeed among the best in the industry, so I will not hesitate to score points for the picture.

3. The soundtrack scores 9.0. Soundtracks have always been the strong point of Europe and the United States.

Although I personally don’t particularly like the opening and ending songs, I can’t find a reason to deduct points. What’s more, I’m already in my third year of college, and I really have a generation gap with girls... …555. However, the anime obviously does not use enough music to set up the plot, making long sections of dialogue seem awkward. Of course, the music during the hero's transformation and fighting scenes is still very exciting.

To sum up, I think the overall review of "Ladybug Reddy" is still relatively good. Its pure American dubbing can also help students learning English, but I personally recommend it to children above high school. Look, it is a Western anime after all. There are many flirting scenes between the male and female protagonists, which would be bad if it leads children astray.
