Indifference and pain

When the weather turns cold, some patients will feel shoulder pain, mostly because the blood circulation of the shoulder becomes worse after the weather turns cold, and the change of blood circulation will lead to the decrease of joint fluid secretion. If the patient has arthritis or inflammation around the shoulder joint, the change of blood circulation will lead to the failure of smooth metabolism of inflammatory factors, and at the same time, the reduction of joint fluid secretion will affect local cartilage nourishment, so pain will occur.

Because the cartilage in the shoulder joint is not rich in blood vessels, the nourishment of cartilage mainly depends on joint fluid, which will be evenly distributed in the joint cavity during joint activity, so there will be no pain symptoms. If the weather is cold, the blood supply is poor, and the secretion of joint fluid is reduced, cartilage will have various uncomfortable symptoms.

If this happens, I suggest you keep warm. Paying attention to activities at ordinary times is to maintain proper activities and muscle activities of the shoulder joint, which is conducive to relieving symptoms. If the pain is serious, you can consider taking non-steroidal painkillers or topical non-steroidal analgesic ointment, which can have a good effect. If conditions permit, local hot compress or infrared physiotherapy can also be used.
