Mountain traffic

There are two ways to climb Changbai Mountain. Climbing from the south slope, you can take Erdaobaihe Town as the foothold; Climbing from the west slope, you can take Songjianghe Town as the foothold. These two routes pass through two-thirds of the scenic spots in Changbai Mountain, mainly Tianchi and Changbai Mountain Grand Canyon. Both lines have mountain gates, and each ticket is 45 yuan. In Erdaobaihe Town, you can take a ride to visit the scenic spots on the north slope at the price of 40 yuan/person. If you want to go to Tianchi, you have to change off-road vehicles at Tianchi intersection. The price is 80 yuan alone. This is because the road is steep and ordinary cars can't drive. If tourists have physical strength and interest, they can walk from Tianchi intersection to Tianchi, which takes about 90 minutes one way. And you can also exercise in the plateau ice and snow base, and Du Fu Villa (a two-star double standard room in 260 yuan).

If the weather was bad yesterday and I didn't see Tianchi, I still have a chance this morning. If the weather is fine, I will go to the main peak as soon as possible to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Tianchi, which is also called glad you came. The return trip can be reversed by the original route. If you saw Tianchi yesterday and want to hurry back to Beijing, you must go down at dawn, take the K2 16 train from Dunhua, leave at 13: 52, and arrive in Beijing at 12: 57 the next day. If you are going back to Shenyang, Changchun and Jilin, you can go down the mountain before noon, go to Changbai Mountain Natural Museum after Erdaobaihe, take a bus to Antu before 15:00 in the afternoon, return by train at night, and get home early the next morning.
