The history of Vietnam in Ming Dynasty

Annan's situation changed suddenly in the early Ming Dynasty. At the same time of the battle of Jingnan, the king of Chen Dynasty in Vietnam was forced to abdicate and give way to the powerful minister Li. Li and his son proclaimed themselves emperors and slaughtered the descendants of Chen's royal family.

Judy, the founder of the Ming Dynasty, was the strongest person in the Ming Dynasty. When the Chen Dynasty in Vietnam was in civil strife, it won the southern expedition, settled its toes and set up a county. Vietnamese history books call this period "the period of national subjugation".

After Ming Taizu's death, Ren and Xuan could not suppress and appease him, and Xuanzong of Ming Taizu agreed to establish Li as king and withdraw the Ming army. Then the post-Li Dynasty in Vietnam was established.

Around 1537, civil strife broke out again in Annan regime. The Vietnamese once again asked the Ming Dynasty to send troops to quell civil strife. Emperor Jiajing's army was stationed at the south gate of the town, ready to invade Vietnam.

1539, the monarch of the rebel army and the minister of Mohs regime took the initiative to send people to the south gate of the town to demand surrender, and presented Annan's land book and household registration book to the Ming emperor, willing to incorporate Annan's regime into the territory of the Ming Dynasty.

The Ming dynasty reduced Annan from a vassal state to a vassal state and reduced Annan to the commander-in-chief of Annan. Guo repents every three years, which is nominally reintegrated into Chinese territory. In fact, until the demise of the Ming Dynasty, it was still directly ruled by the King of Vietnam.

Extended data:

14 19, the Ming court sent Tang Yi, a producer, to make an exchange of toes, and presented books such as The Complete Collection of Sexuality, The Complete Collection of Five Classics and The Complete Collection of Four Books to schools in various counties for students to learn.

1427, the Ming army withdrew, Annan was restored, and the Li Dynasty was established the following year. Li Ting continued to take a series of measures to revitalize Confucianism and advocated Neo-Confucianism with Zhu Cheng as the core, which penetrated into all aspects of Vietnamese society and had a wide and far-reaching impact.

Yan Congjian, a scholar in the Ming Dynasty in China, once described the Confucianism in Vietnam at that time: "Its three cardinal principles and five permanents, the skills of self-cultivation and self-discipline, and the articles of rites and music are all prepared." With the advocacy of overseas Chinese, Confucianism is deeply rooted in Vietnamese society.
