Why do cartons smell so strong in rainy weather?

The reason why a carton smells bad in rainy weather may be that the material is of poor quality and/or the glue used between the layers is not branded. The smell may be due to chemicals in the pulp being released in a moist environment. In addition, the carton may absorb moisture from the air, causing the contents inside to change and create odors.

If the carton smells loud and pungent in rainy weather, this may indicate a quality problem with the material. Recycled waste paper may not have been properly treated during the pressing process, resulting in residual odorous substances. At the same time, if the glue used in the cardboard layer does not come from brand products, it may also cause odor.

In short, the strong smell of cartons in rainy weather may be due to the quality of their materials and/or glue.
