Do you have any stories about grassroots work (townships)? Touching, maybe moved to tears

Xu Keke, a female cattle-raising village official, moved Anyang

In December 2006, Xu Keke, who graduated from the animal science major of Henan University of Science and Technology, became the second batch of college student village cadres in Anyang City one of them.

Xu Keke’s parents were not happy when their child became a “village official.” In their view, if a rural child goes to college, it is like "a carp jumping over the dragon's gate". How can he return to the countryside? But Xu Keke has his own opinion: the major he studied will be of great use in rural areas, and the "Nongmen" is the "Dragon Gate" he wants to jump to!

Guolixi Village, where Xu Keke works, is a professional breeding village. Decentralized and small-scale traditional breeding dominates the village’s breeding industry. When they first started working in the village, the villagers in Guolixi Village did not take this little girl seriously. Xu Keke understands that as a "village official", if he does nothing in developing the economy, it will be difficult for him to have a status in the hearts of the people. Xu Keke came up with the idea of ??starting a business. Combining her majors, she aimed at raising beef cattle.

The project is stuck in funding, and a life-saving loan of 350,000 yuan "falls from the sky"

The key to the project being finalized is how it operates. Xu Keke thought: If we want to improve efficiency, we can't do it one household at a time like in the past. We need to scale up breeding and establish joint-stock farms!

In order to raise start-up funds for the project, Xu Keke mobilized villagers to raise funds to invest in shares. At the beginning, the villagers could not see the development prospects of the project and no one was willing to invest in it. Therefore, Xu Keke took the lead in spending 50,000 yuan to invest in the company. She also worked with party members and village representatives in the village to carry out propaganda and mobilization in households and do mass ideological work. Once, she went to the villager Song's home to mobilize, but the other party said: "In the past few years, the Animal Husbandry Bureau has not succeeded in setting up a cattle breeding base here. You, a girl, should just stay calm." After the phone call, Xu Keke I feel particularly aggrieved. Later, Xu Keke changed his method and played animal husbandry teaching CDs to villagers and took village representatives out to visit and study. Finally, the villagers were convinced by this persistent girl. In less than a month, more than 10 villagers participated in the project, and the start-up capital of 350,000 yuan for the farm was finally raised.

In October 2007, a large-scale breeding farm covering an area of ??6,000 square meters and stocking more than 100 beef cattle was built. Subsequently, Anyang Sanben Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. was established. In the joy, Xu Keke encountered difficulties again. It cost a lot of money to build the farm, and money to buy cattle became a problem again. At that time, a cow cost more than 3,000 yuan, and 100 cows equaled 300,000 yuan. Where did you raise so much money?

At the most difficult time, her district liaison leader and Long'an District Party Committee Secretary Han Linong came to her cattle farm on "three visits to the thatched cottage". For the first time, Secretary Han provided Xu Keke with 5,000 yuan in assistance funds; for the second time, Secretary Han saw the newly built cattle farm and told Xu Keke the good news that the cattle farm would be designated as the district's "college student" "Village Cadre Entrepreneurship Demonstration Base"; this third time was to coordinate the loan of 300,000 yuan for the cattle farm, and the district's "College Student Village Cadre Entrepreneurship Fund" provided interest discount support for the loan. In addition, through the efforts of the district, the city’s labor re-employment small-amount guaranteed loan also provided financial support of 50,000 yuan...

Starting a business is always hard and happy at the same time

The funding problem has been solved , Xu Keke’s confidence greatly increased. Through the contact with the Long'an District Animal Husbandry Bureau, she learned that there are Charolais and Simmental beef cattle in Changchun City, Jilin Province. So, she and three village cadres went north to Changchun City, thousands of miles away, to buy cattle.

Along the way, everyone only ate instant noodles to satisfy their hunger. A cart of calves was also thirsty and hungry, and was very weak. It was November, the weather was cold, and the acclimatization and climate conditions were not suitable, many calves became sick. During those days, Xu Keke and several village cadres took turns guarding the breeding farm day and night, and the cattle slowly recovered to health. But one cow still died of illness, and for a while, the villagers started talking about it. Xu Keke was also very sad. Thinking of the hardships of raising cattle, she secretly ran to the woods behind the cattle farm and cried for a long time.

From then on, Xu Keke took better care of the cows and went into the cowshed every day. Half a year later, 50 beef cattle were successfully sold, making a profit of 90,000 yuan. After two years of operation, the company is running well. So far, the company has sold more than 400 cattle and made a profit of more than 500,000 yuan. Each investor has received an average dividend of 5,000 yuan.

Looking at the simple smiles on the faces of the villagers after the dividends were distributed, Xu Keke was filled with the joy of entrepreneurial success. Next, she will continue to expand the scale, lengthen the industrial chain, vigorously develop beef cattle and donkey slaughtering and meat product processing, use cow dung to cultivate edible fungi, develop an ecological circular economy, register her own trademark, and lead more people to get rich. .
