The beautiful spring in May, the cold in late spring has passed, and the weather is getting better gradually, which is a good time to travel. During the May Day holiday, I came to Anfengtang, known as the first pool in the world, and enjoyed the picturesque scenery there.

Anfengtang is located 30 kilometers south of Shouxian County, Anhui Province, a national historical and cultural city. Shouxian County, also known as Shouchun, Shouyang and Shouzhou in history, was once the capital of the ancient State of Chu with many historical and cultural relics. Anfengtang, as a national key cultural relics protection unit, is one of the important landscapes.

Starting from the county seat, they arrived at Anfengtang after driving for more than half an hour. Looking around, the foggy pond water surface is reflected by the spring sunshine, which is endless and sparkling. This makes people doubt that they have reached the boundless sea. In fact, where there is a sea, it is just artificial ponds.

According to historical records, the ancient Chu ordered Yin (equivalent to the prime minister) Sun Shuai to build water conservancy projects, and ordered people to dig more than ten miles of Anfengtang to irrigate ten thousand mu of fertile land in Chu. Today, despite thousands of years of storms, Anfengtang remains the same.

However, it has been preserved intact to this day. Its water storage and irrigation function still plays an important role, and it has become an indispensable reservoir in Pishihang Irrigation District. Farmland in several towns around the pond is still treated like a mother every year.

Moisturizing walking on the long pond dam, watching weeping willows caress the water surface gracefully and dancing with the wind, listening to the gentle waves lapping against the bank, and the historical smoke blowing gently, everything is like a dream, which can't help but cause a sensation.

After a short rest in the pavilion on the north bank of the pond, the tour guide introduced us to visit the "Sun Gong Temple" opposite the pavilion. This "Sun Gong" must be the Sun Shuai master of Chu Lingyin. Go in and have a look, and it happens. It is something enshrined in it.

Male ... the ancestral hall is not big, and there are only a few rooms in the yard. The antique buildings are quite Huizhou-style, but the history of Chu is too long, and we don't know if all this has its essence.

There is an island looming in the middle of the pond. Landing on the island by boat, with a hole on it. There are many trees, especially peach trees. It's mid-spring, and the peach blossoms are in full bloom, so delicate and charming that they are even more dazzling in the rippling blue waves. Strolling through the peach grove, the bees are buzzing and the flowers are fragrant, which makes people reluctant to leave for a long time.

The setting sun is gradually setting, and the afterglow of the setting sun is scattered on the water surface of Anfengtang. Fish sails are dotted, seagulls flock, and the cool and humid wind comes slowly from the water, which makes people feel tired and relaxed. I didn't enjoy the beautiful scenery, but I had no choice but to return as soon as possible. I had to take a deep breath and reluctantly left this unforgettable fairyland.
