Scenic spots in Wang Lang Baima Scenic Area

Wang Lang is located in Hengduan Mountain, the core of the global biodiversity conservation area, and maintains a complete natural ecosystem, which is famous at home and abroad for its primitiveness, diversity, rarity and representativeness. The scenic spot is mainly divided into two branches: Baixionggou and Zhugenchagou, where you can enjoy the virgin forest, snow-capped mountains and lakes, wetland meadows, Millennium vines, rare animals and plants, white horse sacrificial platform and so on. The PM2.5 in the scenic spot is almost zero, and it is the lung of nature, with an average temperature of about 12.7 C. It is also a summer resort.

Wang Lang Natural Scenic Area (an important part of Baima Wang Lang National Natural Scenic Area) is one of the earliest four nature reserves in China, which mainly protect rare wild animals such as giant pandas and their habitats. It was established in 1965.

(1) The main scenic spot of Baixiong Gully

Baihai Beach

White Beach is the first scenic spot to enter Baixiong Gully. Under the willows and arrowheads, the water is gurgling, and the springs are tinkling, splashing all the way with snow-white waves, such as a pool of pearls scattered by a mountain fairy, which is really attractive. In spring and summer, there are red flowers and green trees, in autumn, there are red leaves all over the mountains, in winter, there are snow covered, nine songs of water laugh, books near the water, fog wet people's faces and unique caves. Birds sing all the year round, and the spring plays on a long slope. You can stand on the hydrophilic plank road and listen to the nature and enjoy the harmonious music of nature.

Jiuqulang

Jiuqulang is named after a waterfall with a hanging curtain and a meandering waterfall. From far and near, you can see the clear mountain spring pouring down, and it is cut into several sections by the raised rock wall and the original rocks in the middle, and it twists and turns in one go. If you go in late autumn, the spring water in your ears will crash, the forest in front of you will be dyed, and the nose will be fragrant and fresh, as if you were falling into a fairyland on earth.

A secluded path in the dense forest

This is an alpine dense forest with the same size and proper density. Every tree is covered with green pineapples, just like a mountain fairy wearing a veil, which is a beautiful and unique landscape. This forest is thriving and luxuriant, with green arrows and bamboos under the trees and around it. It is a paradise for rare birds and animals to live. Tourists' walking plank road is paved with Millennium pine needles and sand stones, which makes them feel ups and downs when walking on the plank road. Giant pandas often haunt this place, or stroll in the Woods, or feast in bamboo bushes, or drink water by the stream. If you are lucky, you may meet the giant panda who just drank the stream and staggered drunk, and enjoy the slow four-step dance of Miss Panda!

Golden Valley

Go up along the valley where clear mountain springs converge, pass through a section of bushes, and reach the endless big grass slope. Every autumn, the slope is full of golden color, giving people an infinite warm feeling. This grass slope is the first stage of plant evolution, that is, the primary stage. Looking around, the periphery is high and the middle is sunken, from low to high, followed by alpine shrubs, grass slopes and bare rocks. There is an arrow bamboo forest in the distance, which is the activity area of giant pandas. There are many flowers in this area that are worth watching and studying, such as azalea, pearl plum, rose, mountain plum and Ma Xianqiang.

Wansonglin

Wansonglin is the first scenic spot to enter Zhugenchagou, and it is named because of the towering green pines. The average age of the pines here is more than 1 years. The forest is a winding path paved with logs. Both sides of the path are covered with thick moss and vibrant herbs and wild flowers. Occasionally, you can see the nearby white horse girl walking slowly on the path. Whenever the mountain wind blows and the trees shake, you can hear the faint low sound and the gentle waves of the mountain spring. Ganhaizi

Ganhaizi is the most open and flat place in Zhugenchagou, with an altitude of about 3 meters. nirvana stone

goes upstream along Ganhaizi and crosses a forest path. You can find a magnificent columnar boulder standing between the mountains and forests, called Nirvana Stone. The mountain spring flows down from the mountain along the rocks, gathers into a stream and flows into the blood lake. According to legend, a couple of immortals stayed together here for a long time. Because they fled to the world privately in violation of the dogma, the heaven decided to punish them, and lightning and thunder broke out, causing landslides. In order to save the local people from extinction, this kind couple turned into a towering boulder, which restored calm and saved the village and the people. Later, Baima people set up a sacrificial platform here, and the boulder became a sacred place for Baima people to pray for blessing.

Baishagou primeval forest

At an altitude of 3,1 meters, the primeval forest composed of dense tall trees closed the sky, and the giant pine and cypress, which are thousands of years old, flourished and its branches escaped, allowing the giant panda pronghorn to walk under the trees and the young quail goshawk to soar in the sky. You can enjoy the fragrance of cypress, azalea red and sequoia red leaves shining around. The lake above the mountain is a pearl embedded among the mountains. Baima Lake is more than 1 kilometers long, with an average width of 5 meters and the deepest point of 18 meters. Wild Giant Panda

Wang Lang Nature Reserve in Pingwu County, known as "the first county of giant pandas in the world", is one of the first four nature reserves established in China to protect rare wild animals such as giant pandas and their habitats, and the number of wild giant pandas ranks first in the world. This area is an important corridor of giant panda habitat and a hub connecting the giant panda A population in Minshan. In the past 5 years, Wang Lang Nature Reserve has collected a lot of image data about the distribution, living habits, population size and activity traces of wild giant pandas. green-tailed pheasant belongs to the pheasant family, a large bird with a body length of about 7-8 cm and a weight of about 36 grams. Inhabits in alpine meadows, shrubs and bare rock areas at an altitude of about 3-5 meters, and often goes down to the shrub area at the forest edge of about 3 meters in winter.

Cyperus tibetica

Orchidaceae plants grow in forests and shrubs at an altitude of 2,7-4,2m. In Wang Lang, the best viewing time is from June to July.

Morchella esculenta

Morchella esculenta, also known as mutton tripe, sheep mushroom and bamboo, is a precious edible fungus and medicinal fungus. Morchella was discovered in 1818. Its structure is similar to that of Tricholoma, and its upper part is folded and reticulate, which is like a beehive and a lamb belly, hence its name.

Picea purpurea

Picea purpurea is an evergreen tree, with a height of 3m, flaky bark, orange-yellow branchlets, densely pubescent leaves with wooden nail pillows, flowering in May and ripening in October. It is a national second-class protected plant.
