Shen quan's life

After War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression ended, because he opposed the civil war, he abandoned his honor and returned to his hometown to farm. He was arrested and executed for counter-revolutionary crimes in the 1950s, and was rehabilitated 30 years later. Before his execution, he pointed to his forehead and angrily rebuked the executioner standing behind him: Japan and Jiang Gong didn't shoot me from behind. Come on, stand in front and fight here!

Major General Shen Quan, who graduated from the fourth phase of Huangpu, was the head of the division of 128 who survived the Battle of Songhu in 1937. He withdrew from the fire line due to injury, and after returning from injury, he led his troops to participate in a bloody battle against the Japanese aggressors in gutang, Jiujiang. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, I became a short general in Nanjing. I didn't say that my life was bad, but I also knew that the depression in my heart made us despair. It seems that our luck has run out! It's over. Of course I don't fight civil war. ..... It seems that it is going to be unloaded and returned to the field.

Sure enough, I returned to Phoenix from Nanjing, rented a small courtyard with a patio, planted some flowers such as day lilies and laurels in the patio, hung Chinese characters on the wall of the living room, did some consulting work for the newly established local people's government, and made some lobbyists to persuade the dragon to surrender. If nothing unexpected happens, I plan to live a long life between flowers and calligraphy.

Suddenly one day he was dragged to the river as a counter-revolutionary. The frustrated soldier spread himself an old army blanket on the grass on the river beach and said with a sigh, "Alas! I didn't expect you to do this. " Then he pointed to his forehead and said, "Hit here!

This man is famous for his marksmanship. It is not difficult for him to put twenty or thirty incense sticks in the corner and put them out one by one with a mauser pistol. He doesn't know how many people have instructed him to learn to shoot, and he never thought about instructing him to use his head as a target for the last time.

When the blood spilled and the white-haired head fell to the ground, the last imagination of this soldier's life may still be the scene of the battle between Shanghai and Shanghai. With a large number of keys to fortifications, he opened the rusty iron gate on the national defense line and let the soldiers get in and prepare for self-defense. The result was shot by the Japanese. That time, he was lucky enough to wake up from a coma for several days, and this time, he could never wake up.

Thirty-two years later, 1984 was rehabilitated, and all compensation was paid to 500 yuan, who ratified the rebel army in name and named his wife a county magistrate.

After 15-year-old brother Shen Congwen joined the local troops in Xiangxi, 1922, 16-year-old Shen Quan joined the Yang Mingchen Department of the third detachment of Xiangxi Reconnaissance Army as an orderly. 1925 was admitted to the fourth phase of Huangpu Military Academy. 1926 served as a trainee platoon leader in the education regiment of the third army (head of Zhu De), 1927 served as a company commander in the 14th army. After the country split, he returned to Phoenix to serve as the captain of the Military Training Institute of the No.1 19 Independent Division and act as the provost. In the same year, he went to Nanjing, took part in an officer's research class, and returned to Phoenix after graduation to serve as the chief of staff of the newly compiled Lieutenant Colonel of the 34th Division. 193 1 was transferred to the position of Deputy Head of the 5th Regiment of the 2nd Brigade of the 34th Division and stationed in Xupu. After that, he went to the Lushan Officer Training Corps for a month. 1934,34 division downsized and transferred to battalion commander of engineering corps.

When he was young, Shen Quan was burly, tall and handsome, with a clear voice, which was very pleasing. When he became an officer, he was tall and beautiful, wearing a woolen uniform and a knife belt. Sometimes I go back to my hometown, put on casual clothes and raise a rooster to fight with crickets, which is very serious. Sometimes he will follow the army.

As famous as handsome and beautiful is his marksmanship. In the evening, ask someone to put twenty or thirty sticks of incense on the wall near the field in the Phoenix experimental shed. Then with a mauser pistol, I shot them out, and they won everyone's applause.

Because I was young and competitive, I made a bet with others, which was extremely thrilling.

There is a young officer in Phoenix named Liu Wenjiao, who is a close friend of Shen Quan. Once he talked about marksmanship and made a bet. Liu Wenjiao asked his son to stand at a distance of ten or twenty meters, with twenty copper rings with a hundred words on his head, and asked Shen Quan to aim at making copper rings. If the child dies, Shen Quan pays for two baskets of bullets, ten rifles and two fancy machine guns. There are many people watching this bet, and they are all worried about their children. Unexpectedly, Shen Quan knocked out the copper ring with only one shot. Although he won the game, his mother scolded him half to death when she found out. This young and ignorant child later became a famous painter in western Hunan, namely Mr. Liu Hongzhou.

Shen Quan served in the 34th Division for a long time. Chen Quzhen, the teacher of the 34th Division, is a native of Fenghuang, Xiangxi, graduated from Hunan Armed School and a member of the Communist Youth League. He used to be the governor and envoy of Xiangxi and ruled Xiangxi for more than ten years, so he is known as the "King of Xiangxi". He advocated protecting the environment, helping the people, eliminating bandits, and making great efforts to govern Xiangxi, and made great progress. However, he was self-respecting and incompatible with He Jian, then chairman of Hunan Province. 1935, He Jian took advantage of the pursuit of the Red Army and forced the 34th Division to accept the adaptation. Gu's subordinate became a teacher, transferred from Xiangxi and accepted the reorganization. 1937 After the "Lugouqiao Incident" broke out, the unit was renamed as128th Division, which was subordinate to the 10th Army of Liu. Shen Quan was promoted from the engineering battalion commander to the head of the 764th regiment to join the army in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.

After the reorganization of 128 division, more than 7,000 people are basically children of Xiangxi, and most of the generals are Phoenix people. These soldiers gave full play to the brave spirit of Xiangxi people who were not afraid of death, fought bloody battles on the battlefield, and performed a generous and tragic song of national disaster and death.

1937165438+1October, all the soldiers of the division led by Shen Quan 128 went to Jiashan, Zhejiang Province to stop the sixth and eighth armies of the Japanese invaders. The whole division was transported from Hangzhou to the front by train in the middle of the night, without a guide to lead the way, searching for defensive national defense fortifications in the fog. The whole city has been emptied, leaving only one county magistrate. He handed the keys of a series of numbered fortifications to the head of the group, Shen Quan, and left with the train, leaving no fortifications drawings. Under the command of Shen Quan, the soldiers opened the iron gate of the fortification for the second time and then began to stop the enemy's crazy attack.

The fighting was extremely fierce. Because of various factors such as transportation, the backup could not keep up, and the division kept it for seven days and seven nights. Especially in the next few days, I almost insisted on fighting with an empty stomach. During the day, Japanese military planes and artillery bombed indiscriminately, and then rushed into the position with heavy troops. At night, the soldiers of 128 division fought in the dark and hand-to-hand combat, driving the devils out. There is a battalion under the command of Shen Quan. Under the leadership of Zhang Jinghua, the battalion commander hid in a trench and hole bombed by a bomb and was bombarded by enemy planes and artillery. More than 600 bombs were dropped every day, but he still held his ground. Later, only 16 soldiers were left in the first battalion. The battalion commander was injured, and the company commander and platoon leader all died. This 16 man climbed out of the trench and fought hand-to-hand with the enemy until reinforcements arrived.

At the end of Jiashan Defence War, the children of Xiangxi in 128 Division suffered heavy losses, except for the 767th Regiment, there was also an organizational group. Four regimental commanders were injured, 12 battalion commander 7 were killed, 5 were injured, platoon leader 2/3 were killed,13 were injured. But they beat the morale of China people, making the crazy Japanese army sit up and take notice, and never dare to despise the China army again.

Of the 1500 men under Shen Quan's command, only 120 survived in Jiashan Defence War. Shen Quan was carried off the battlefield by his men after being injured.

Shen Quan returned to Yuanling, Xiangxi for more than two months. The wound was just right, and the rest period had not passed, so the superior transferred him to the anti-Japanese front. As an honorary corps, it received new recruits in Changde, some of whom were old troops in Xiangxi, and went to the front. Was incorporated into the temporary fifth division, and Shen Quan was appointed as the head of the fourth regiment. In the battle to defend Changsha, he led his troops to attack Xiaowumen. Seeing that the offensive was fierce and hard to resist, the Japanese army dispatched bulldozers to level the field ridges for motor vehicles to avoid. After Shen Quan discovered his intention, he immediately ordered Erlian to lead the pursuit. Thus, in the vast battlefield, there was a miracle, and the officers and men of the four regiments chased Japanese cars with their feet. It was dark and the enemy and I were inseparable, and the Japanese army could not stop our pursuit with firepower. Soon, Erlian caught up with some Japanese vehicles and plugged in. A Grenade blew up several cars and blocked them in the driveway. Those vehicles that had no time to cross the Laodao River were all punctured by soldiers and collapsed into a pile, which was a great victory. ...

After War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's victory, Shen Quan was transferred to the Nanjing Ministry of National Defense as a major general supervisor.

He had corresponded with his second brother, Shen Congwen, for many times. They were going to write a history of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression together and set about collecting relevant information, but they gave up for some reason.

Shortly after the civil war broke out, Shen Quan was in Nanjing. In addition to living a poor life, her mood is even heavier. "War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's victory left us cornered. It seems that luck is exhausted! It's over. Civil war, of course I don't want to fight ... It seems that I'm going to return to the battlefield ... "

Later, he resigned from the army and returned to his hometown of Phoenix. 1949165438+1October 9, Chen Quzhen, the "king of Xiangxi", took part in the peaceful uprising and went to the local government to do some consulting work. I work in Phoenix Arrow Road every day. He is still handsome, clean and learned. I rented a very elegant house in Nanmuping. There are American peas, day lilies and two pots of laurel trees in the yard. In the living room with wooden floor, there are couplets written by Zhang Xiruo.

Although Shen Quan is a military commander, he is a Confucian general and has close contacts with many cultural celebrities. At the beginning of the Anti-Japanese War, many cultural groups who moved to Xiangxi got his help, and artists and literati all had friendship with him.

When Shen Congwen was recuperating in Changsha, he fled through Changsha with a group of friends. Shen Quan was very excited to see his brother. Generous by nature, he asked his brother how many friends came to Changsha from Beiping, and expressed his willingness to invite everyone to dinner in the name of Shen Congwen to show the friendship of the landlord.

Two days later, Shen Congwen invited Lin, Liang Sicheng, Jin, Yang Zhensheng, Wen Yiduo, Zhu Ziqing, Xiao Gan and others, and Shen Quan hosted a banquet in Sanxiang Hotel. During the dinner, he also introduced the "August 13th" movement in Shanghai. Everyone was very encouraged and burst into applause from time to time. ...

195 1 year, during the counter-insurgency movement, Shen Quan and many people who defected to the uprising were wrongly treated and sentenced to death at the age of 45.

Thirty-two years later, on 1983, Shen Quan's unjust case was rehabilitated and she was recognized as an insurgent. Her family received compensation from 500 yuan, and her wife Roland was added as a member of CPPCC County.

Shen Quan has two wives. The first is Tian Xizhen, the granddaughter of Tian Xingshu, the magistrate of Guizhou in the late Qing Dynasty, and the daughter of Tian, the guardian of Xiangxi, and Mrs. Phoenix. Because he had no children, when Shen Quan was stationed in Xupu, he fell in love with Roland, the daughter of a porcelain shop owner in Xupu County. Luo is young and beautiful, and she is a flower in Xupu. After marriage, she gave birth to a daughter, Shen Chaohui. After the death of Shen Quan, Shen Chaohui went to Beijing from Xiangxi on 1958, went to his uncle and recognized Shen Congwen as his father. After the Cultural Revolution began, Shen Chaohui was forced to leave Beijing. After the policy was improved, he returned to Beijing and married Liu Huanzhang, a teacher of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Liu later became a famous sculptor.

After Shen Quan's death, the two wives were sent to the countryside of Fenghuang Tea Farm, where they lived with Tian Maojue, the nephew of Tian Xizhen, who died in the 1970s.

After Shen Quan was rehabilitated, madame roland returned to the city, healthy and clear-headed. 1988 Fenghuang Shen Congwen's former residence was restored, and she was asked to look after Shen Congwen's former residence until her death in the winter of the mid-1990s.
