Wong Tai Sin District, named after the famous Wong Tai Sin Temple in the area, is located in the northeast of Kowloon Peninsula. Wong Tai Sin Temple is the most popular place in Hong Kong. Wong Tai Sin was originally named Bamboo Garden. Because there is a Korean pine Wong Tai Sin Temple in the area, the incense is flourishing and full of faith, so it is named Wong Tai Sin District.

Niuchi Bay was originally named Niushi Bay, and Yuefu was originally named Tiger Rock. Because the original name was ugly, it was refined into the existing name.

Diamond Mountain, originally a stone mine, means to dig stones from the mountain. When the colonial government translated this place into English, it misunderstood the diamond/stone mountain as a diamond/mountain and named it Diamond Mountain.
