Is Niutou Yan Di or Huangdi?
According to legend, Emperor Yan's bull head may be a clan leader with cattle as his totem. At first, this clan was active in the Weihe River basin, and some people said that it was active in the Surabaya River basin. Later, it entered the middle reaches of the Yellow River and clashed with the Jiuli nationality for a long time.
Chiyou expelled Emperor Yan to Zhuolu. Emperor Yan asked the Yellow Emperor for help, and the two sides fought in Zhuolu. Chiyou invited the Rain God from Fengbo to make trouble, which created a fog and made the soldiers of the Yellow Emperor lose their way. The Yellow Emperor invited Nu Wa, the god of drought, to clear up and built a "south guide car" to tell the direction. The result of this fierce battle was that Chiyou failed and was killed. The Yellow Emperor won the victory and was elected as the "son of heaven".
Huaxia formation
Huaxia is the collective name of all ethnic groups in China's ancient Central Plains, also known as "Xia". According to the research of some historians, ancient tribes in China can be divided into Huaxia Group, Dongyi Group and Miaoman Group. After a long period of communication and integration, they basically assimilated in the Spring and Autumn Period and became the three main sources of the so-called "China people" in the Qin and Han Dynasties.
Huaxia Group is dominated by Yan Di and Huangdi. These two ethnic groups first lived in Shaanxi, and then gradually moved eastward. The Huangdi nationality went south along the North Luoshui River, crossed the Yellow River to the east, and developed to the northeast along Zhongtiao Mountain and Taihang Mountain. In the area of the Yellow River in southern Shanxi, many countries with the surname of Ji, such as Yu, Yang, Han and Wei, were formed. Some Yan Di clans also developed eastward along the Weihe River and the south bank of the Yellow River, forming countries with Jiang surnames such as Shen, Lu, Qi and Xu. In the process of moving eastward, we will continue to expand our strength.
The Battle of Hanquan was a battle between Huangdi and Yan Di for the leader of the tribal alliance. Yan Di was defeated and incorporated into the Yellow Emperor, and China gradually formed. Later, the Yellow Emperor defeated Chiyou, the leader of the Jiuli nationality of Dongyi Group, in the battle of Zhuolu, and his power expanded to today's Shandong, and Huaxia Group was able to expand unprecedentedly. According to reports, Zaiyu, Xia, Shang and Zhou are all descendants of the Yellow Emperor. After thousands of years of historical development, China's position in the history of China has been gradually established.
