When will the East Sixth Ring Road Earth Bridge be opened?

It will be opened to traffic in 2024. When interpreting the "2022 Beijing Comprehensive Traffic Management Action Plan", the relevant person in charge of the Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission introduced that in terms of road construction, the main project of the Beijing section of the Beijing-Xiong Expressway and Tongqing Road and Xitai Road will be completed this year, and the construction of Beijing-Xiong Expressway will begin this year. Miu Expressway (South Airport Line-Sixth Ring Road). At the same time, we will open up the breakpoints and bottlenecks of key roads in the city's sub-center, start the construction of the earth bridge node reconstruction project on the west side of the East Sixth Ring Road, and promote the transformation of about 200 kilometers of suburban roads in the city's sub-center into urban roads. After the East Sixth Ring Road is renovated into the ground, the existing earth bridge overpass will also be renovated. In the future, the west side road of the East Sixth Ring Road will be connected through the Tuqiao interchange area. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2023 and put into operation in 2024.
