The weather forecast shows that it is out of date and cannot be updated.

The weather cannot be updated automatically. Entering the weather interface for manual update is invalid. The interface displays the previous weather (a few hours ago or a day ago) or prompts "Weather information has expired".

The cause of the problem:

HuAccuwei's own weather forecast is to obtain data from ACCUWeather, a third-party service provider. It may be because the AccuWeather server is abnormal, which leads to the untimely weather update.

If the weather in the current location can't be updated automatically, it may be that the positioning switch is turned off, so that the application can't get the user's location information, and thus can't get the local weather information.

Solution:

We suggest you try the following methods:

Turn on location services: EMUI9.0 version 9.0 go to settings > security and privacy > location services and turn on the switch to access my location information.

Other versions will confirm whether the location service is turned on and choose to use GPS, WLAN and mobile network.

Try to switch network connection: If the currently connected WLAN cannot be updated, try to switch to 4G traffic data to refresh; If the 4G traffic data cannot be refreshed, try to switch to WLAN.

EMUI4。 X & 5.x entry: Settings > Applications > Application Management > Weather > Storage.

EMUI9.0 and EMUI8. X access: settings >; Applications > applications and notifications > weather > store, delete data and clear cache, re-enter weather and add cities.

If the above methods still can't be solved, please provide the following information, and we will feedback it to Accu for confirmation:

City/region information with abnormal weather.

Enter the weather interface and manually pull down to update once, and then pull down to see if the last update time is consistent with the system time.

Remarks:

When the weather automatic updating condition is met, it can be automatically updated without entering the weather application.

Huawei's mobile phone weather data are all from weather providers. At present, the weather supplier we cooperate with is AccuWeather.

"China Weather Link" is the brand of Accuweather in China. At the end of 20 17, an agreement was reached with the supplier on data source display: 1, the name of weather data source in China EMUI8.0 and above was changed from "AccuWeather" to "China Weather Chain". 2. The weather data source name in the weather that comes with EMUI4.1/EMUI5.0/5.1still uses "AccuWeather". 3. This modification only changes the name, and the data source is still the same. Please feel free to use. 4. In EMUI9.0, due to the user privacy protection requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, applications are not allowed to obtain user location information when the location switch is turned off, so in EMUI 9.0, the location switch must be turned on to update the current location weather.
