Do you know the normal temperature range of children?

Parents, care about children's health, starting with temperature measurement! However, do you know the normal range of a child's temperature? Let's get to know each other.

Location of temperature measurement

There are three parts for measuring body temperature: mouth, armpit and anus. In the anus, the normal body temperature is between 36.5℃ and 37.5℃; In the oral cavity, the normal body temperature ranges from 36.2℃ to 37.3℃; At the armpit, the normal body temperature is between 35.9℃ and 37.2℃. Once it exceeds the normal range by more than 0.5℃, it may be a fever!

Babies under one year old

It is normal for infants under one year old to have a body temperature below 37.5℃. Because the baby's thermoregulatory center is not yet mature, the body temperature will be affected by the ambient temperature. When the weather is hot or there are too many packages, the body temperature will rise slightly, but it should not exceed 37.5℃. In cold weather or low-temperature air-conditioned rooms, the body temperature may drop to 36℃ or lower.

Thermoregulation in summer

Summer is coming, the temperature is soaring, and the baby's thermoregulation ability is poor. When a mother holds her baby, the hot air is not easy to dissipate and it is easy to raise the body temperature. Don't worry, this fever usually doesn't last long. Put the child in a cool place, fan him a little, give him some cold juice or take a bath, and his temperature will return to normal in a few hours.

Winter temperature regulation

If the indoor temperature is too high in winter and the baby is wrapped too much, it will also raise the baby's body temperature. Therefore, parents should adjust their children's clothes reasonably according to the season and indoor temperature!

abstract

The normal range of children's body temperature should be determined according to the location where the body temperature is measured. If the child's temperature exceeds the normal range, it may be a fever, so seek medical attention in time!
