White clouds are long and commonplace, but why do they float in space and pile up on the ground to make wool felt?

The principle is not complicated.

The difference between clouds and air lies in the state of water. There is only water vapor in the air, which is colorless, odorless and gaseous. Clouds contain water vapor, which is a highly dispersed droplet, not a liquid. Obviously, the density of water vapor is greater than that of water vapor, and there should be clouds on the ground.

Clouds float by absorbing heat, the air is transparent, the sunlight is direct, and the air hardly absorbs heat; Clouds are translucent. They absorb heat from sunlight. Because of the different heat absorption, the air temperature in the cloud is higher than the surrounding air. The higher the air temperature, the smaller the density, which is the same as the principle of hot air balloon: the air expands when it heats up and contracts when it cools.

Every cloud is a hot air balloon, and water vapor is a passenger carried by the hot air balloon. At high altitude, the density of gas is decreasing, and when clouds rise to a height equal to their own density, they will be suspended in the air.

Some people may think: Do white clouds have to fall at night? No, although the sunlight is gone, it is only visible light, and there are invisible infrared rays. Clouds can still absorb heat, and the amount of heat absorbed will affect the height of clouds.

Of course, it can also be determined that it is a cloud, such as fog. Fog and clouds are mainly different in height. If they cannot ascend to heaven, they are fog. A little more failure, and the dew will fall on the ground. Dewdrops, objects and clouds are all states of water vapor at different heights.
