After the news that he robbed passengers of their belongings at Guangzhou Station and killed the pursuing armed police with a knife during his escape, we realized how dangerous the situation was at that time.

There is a bus station near Guangzhou Railway Station. The author has just got off the bus in Yunnan and is preparing to catch the bus to Guilin the next morning.
