How is the hail formed?
1. Hail must have conditions and strong convective weather. We all know that the temperature decreases with the elevation. For example, the snow line on Tianshan Mountain is about 3,500-4,000 meters (latitude difference will change the height), that is to say, beyond this height, there may be constant snow all the year round, and the clouds are obviously above this height, so it is very normal to have ice crystals in high-altitude cumulonimbus clouds.
2. If there is no strong convective weather, condensation nuclei formed in cumulonimbus clouds will fall or be pushed up by convective weather, and relatively heavy raindrops will be formed repeatedly, such as Mao Mao rain or heavy rain or heavy rain! Or without condensation nuclei, small ice crystals formed at lower temperatures will re-melt into water droplets during falling.
3. If there is strong convective weather in the thunderstorm cloud, the ice crystals formed in the thunderstorm cloud at high altitude will be repeatedly pushed to the high altitude by the updraft during the falling process. In this process, water droplets are constantly added, and large pieces of ice re-condense, which is the origin of hail. The stronger the updraft, the greater the hail may be!
Hail:
Hail is also called "hail", commonly known as hail and "bully", and it is called "Lengzi" in some areas (such as Xuzhou and Gansu), which is the most common in summer or at the turn of spring and summer. It is some ice particles as small as mung beans and soybeans and as big as chestnuts and eggs.
Except for Guangdong, Hunan, Hubei, Fujian, Jiangxi and other provinces, China suffers from hail disasters to varying degrees every year. Especially in the mountainous and hilly areas in the north, the terrain is complex, the weather is changeable and there are many hail, which is very harmful to agriculture. Heavy hail destroyed crops and houses, injured people and killed livestock. Extraordinary hail is bigger than grapefruit, which will kill people, destroy a large area of farmland and trees, and destroy buildings and vehicles. It has powerful lethality.
