According to the statistics released by the civil affairs department, within half a year after the earthquake, the total value of money and materials raised nationwide reached 762 14 billion yuan, of which about 65.2 billion yuan was raised. However, at the charity fund-raising point on the street in Guangzhou, a little beggar's kindness touched thousands of people in Qian Qian, which is still admirable in retrospect.

A special figure suddenly appeared at the donation site. I saw a scrawny man sitting in a simple wheelchair made by himself and slowly walking to the seat of the donation volunteer. From the appearance, the man just supported the ground with his hands, and his stovepipe was tied to his chest, which was very difficult.

Many volunteers think that this is a disabled person who has come to beg and are thinking about how to give him some simple help, such as giving him some money or drinking water. But the beggar's next move surprised the volunteers. The little beggar slowly moved to the front of the donation box and pulled out some crumpled bills from his bag with his back tilted. He touched these bills very smoothly, folded them neatly, and carefully dropped them into the donation box from the slot.

In the next few days, the little beggar walked back and forth four times and donated all the money he begged that day to Wenchuan. Gong Zhongcheng, the most special donor

The disabled boy named Gong Zhongcheng was from Xincai County, Zhumadian City, Henan Province. He was only 18 years old at that time. When I was a child, my family was poor, and a sudden high fever made my parents feel at a loss. A few days later, Gong Zhongcheng still had a high fever, and his parents rushed to take him to the hospital to see a doctor, only to learn the unfortunate news that his child was suffering from polio, which eventually led to Gong Zhongcheng's legs being disabled.

Later, his mother died young, Gong Zhongcheng lived with his father, and they lived alone. /kloc-at the age of 0/4, Gong Zhongcheng's father wanted to go out to work, so he took his son to Guangzhou. The father and son live in Yingju Lane, Shangbu Village, Baiyun District. During the day, his father went out to work, and Gong Zhongcheng sat in a self-made wheelchair and begged along the street. Although living in a bustling metropolis, the wandering life of father and son is still very difficult.

People who love others will always love others.

Since the news of Gong Zhongcheng's donation was published in the newspaper, Guangzhou Baiyun District Youth League Committee and the civil affairs department sent people to send clothes, quilts and books to the father and son many times. In particular, Gong Zhongcheng was impressed by the difficulty of his movements and gave him a brand-new wheelchair.

The college student volunteers of South China Normal University have established contact with Gong Zhongcheng and will continue to provide cultural knowledge counseling for Gong Zhongcheng, which is exactly what Gong Zhongcheng, who suffers from little culture, hopes. Because this disabled boy doesn't want to be a burden to others, he is ambitious and hopes to achieve economic independence as soon as possible. Instead of begging in the streets, he seriously studied store management and herbal tea preparation from the training specialist of herbal tea shop every day. Slowly, Gong Zhongcheng's living conditions began to improve. Nowadays, food and clothing for his father and son is no longer a problem.

Thinking about the life after the expiration of the herbal tea shop, Gong Zhongcheng admits that he has long wanted to do business, and it is a business with technical content. Through asking around, Gong Zhongcheng learned that repairing mobile phones is more profitable and suitable for him, so he found a training class to teach mobile phone maintenance technology, paid 5,000 yuan in tuition, and prepared to learn a technology and open a mobile phone repair shop. He will eat on his own in the future.

After work, Gong Zhongcheng joined the Guangzhou Disabled Persons' Federation, from being given alms to giving and helping others.
