Brief introduction of scenic spots in Guzhang County

1, looking at the boundary. Gaowangjie National Nature Reserve is located in the northeast of Guzhang County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. Experts from Central South Forestry College call Zuolongxia "the first canyon in Central South China".

It is a typical minority village with Miao as the main population. The folk customs here are simple, and it was awarded as "Hometown of Miao Flower Drum" by Hunan Provincial Department of Culture 1993, and "Hometown of China Folk Culture and Art" by the Ministry of Culture in 2008.

4. Mixed martial arts Miao village. "Wuhang Miao Village" is located in Mao Ping Village, Murong Town, Guzhang County, which is 0/0 km away from the county seat and the middle section of Zhangjiajie-Fenghuang Line, the golden swimming line in Xiangxi. Up to now, 30% of Miao people can't speak Chinese. The houses in Wuhang Miao Village are all built by mountains and rivers, which are simple and distinctive.

5. Redstone Forest. Hongshilin is 26 kilometers away from the county seat, located in Qietong Township and Duanlongshan Township, Guzhang County, Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture. Covering an area of about 30 square kilometers, it is divided into Hualan Scenic Area and Zuokuba Scenic Area. All the stones here are covered with fine wrinkles, just like coral reefs. Even more amazing is that the stones in the Red Stone Forest landscape will change color with the changes of weather, temperature and humidity. In 2005, Hongshilin Scenic Area was approved as a national geological park and included in the "New Xiaoxiang Eight Scenes".
