What mountains are there in Tibet?

There are many mountains in Tibet, mainly a few, and there are different mountains under them.

One: Himalayas

1, Mount Everest (8844.43) is the main Himalayan peak and the highest peak in the world. Mount Qomolangma is called Mount Qomolangma for short and also translated as Mount Qomolangma. Nepal is called Sagamata, also known as "Mount Everest". In Tibetan, "Mount Everest" means "the third goddess". The peak is located in the Himalayas on the border between People's Republic of China (PRC) and Nepal, and it is covered with snow all year round.

Mount Qomolangma is 8844.43 meters above sea level. It is the main peak of the Himalayan Mountains, the highest peak in the world. It is an arc mountain system with an approximate east-west trend. It is located in the middle of the Himalayas, on the border between China and Nepal, and just south of Dingri County in Shigatse, Tibet. This mountain is a huge pyramid with huge glaciers, the longest of which is 26 kilometers. At the foot of the mountain is the highest temple in the world, Rongbu Temple.

2. Bangma Peak (80 12 above sea level) in the Xixia of the Himalayas is the 14th peak in the world and the only complete 8000m peak in China. Xixiabangma Peak, which means "cold weather, changeable weather" in Tibetan. At an altitude of 80 12m, it is located in the middle part of the Himalayas, in nyalam county, Tibet, with a southeast distance of 120km from Mount Everest, which is the highest peak in China with an altitude of over 8000m. It consists of three sister peaks with similar altitude, and there are two peaks of 8008 meters and 7966 meters respectively at 200 meters and 400 meters northwest of the main peak. This is one of the modern glacier centers in the Himalayas. The ice tower area between 5000-5800 meters above sea level is several kilometers long. The landscape is very strange, just like an "ice crystal garden", but it is covered with criss-crossing ice and snow cracks, and sometimes there will be huge ice avalanches.

3. Mount Mu Na (7694), the fifth peak in the Himalayas. Mu Na, the highest mountain in Ali, Tibet. Italy's Mount Notre Dame, goddess peak. The altitude is 7694. The fifth peak in the Himalayas. Surrounded by her is the sacred Mabangyongcuo Lake.

Holy mountains and lakes complement each other, which means good luck.

4. Nanga Bawa (7782), located in the eastern Himalayas, is the highest mountain in Linzhi, Tibet, China, ranking 28th in the world. It also has another name "Muzhuo Bashan". The huge triangular peak is covered with snow all year round and never shows its true colors easily, so it is also called "Shame on Women Peak". There are many explanations for Nange Baba's hiding. One is "lightning burns like fire", and the other is "a spear that pierces the sky&# 39; There is also a song "Tianshan Rockfall". The latter name comes from the Battle of Menling in the Biography of King Gesar, in which Nanga Bawa Peak is described as "a spear penetrates the sky".

Second: the Gangdise Mountains.

1, Gangrinboqi (672 1), the main peak of the Gangdise Mountains. Gangrinpo Qi Feng is the main peak of the Gangdise Mountains in China and one of the top ten most beautiful and shocking peaks in China. The top of the mountain is 672 1 m above sea level, making it the second highest peak in the Gangdise Mountains. Located in the north of Pulan County in the southwest of Xizang Autonomous Region. Tibetan means sacred mountain. The faults on the south side descend to Xiangquan River valley and Mabian Yongcuo and Laangcuo lake basins. There are 28 modern glaciers covered with snow and ice above 6000 meters above sea level, mainly ice bucket glaciers and suspended glaciers. There are more glaciers on the south slope than on the north slope.

Qi Feng in Gangrenbo is a holy mountain recognized in the world, and it is also recognized as the world center of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism, Bonism, a local religion in Tibet, and ancient Jainism.

Three: Nyainqentanglha Mountains

1, Nyainqentanglha Peak (7 162m), the main peak of Nyainqentanglha Mountain (pay attention to distinguish two concepts). "Nyainqentanglha" in Tibetan means "the spirit should be the god of grassland", which shows the respect and hope of Tibetans for it. These four peaks and their surrounding areas suffered from strong Quaternary glaciation, forming steep mountains, especially the northwest slope. The mountain is straight and spectacular. The top of the main peak looks like an eagle's mouth, with many broken rock cliffs. Clouds diffuse in the air during the day and are covered with ice and snow all year round. It has three main ridges: west ridge, east ridge and south ridge. Affected by topography, the development of glaciers in this area is greatly limited. Near the north slope, there are mainly Henggu Glacier and Suspended Rock Glacier, and the tongue end of suspended rock glacier is often as high as 5700 meters. There are two glaciers lying across the canyons on the north and south sides, falling down, with steep ice walls and cracks between light and shade, which are extremely sinister and strange and spectacular. The snow line in this area is also higher than other areas, reaching more than 5800 meters.

Four. Tanggula Mountains

1, Gladandong Snow Mountain (662 1), the main peak of Tanggula, the birthplace of the Yangtze River. Gladandong Snow Mountain is located in Mafei Jiri Township, Naqu Amdo County. Its height is 662 1 m, which is the source of the Yangtze River. At the foot of the mountain in the east, there is an ice tower group with an area of about 800 square kilometers, called Ganga Qiao Ba (meaning a hundred snow lanterns). These ice towers have different shapes, some of which are like finely carved crystal towers, towering on the horizon at the foot of the mountain. The towers are criss-crossed, and colorful beams shine through the sun, making the whole ice forest a rainbow world. There are towering towers and melodious French bells in the wind. Such a charming ice and snow scene is really unique.

Five: Laguigangri Mountains

1, Naiqin Sang Kang (7206m), the main peak of Lagu Gangri Mountain Range, also known as Ningjin Sand Control. Naiqin Sang Kang Snow Mountain is one of the four sacred mountains in Tibet. Located at the junction of Langkazi County and Gyangze County in Tibet, with an altitude of 7 19 1 m. Due to the extreme cold, the top of the mountain has abrupt white clouds all year round, scattered with granular snow, and accumulated and compacted all year round, forming an ice layer with a thickness of 20- 100 meters. Carola Glacier is located at the foot of Kangsang Snow Mountain in Naiqin, at the junction of Langkazi County and Gyangze County, and beside the highway. Snow-white glaciers hang on the mountain wall like a huge thangka, shining in the sun. The meltwater of Karola Glacier is the east source of Nianchu River, an important tributary in the upper reaches of Yajiang River.
