Luling, the former teacher's name, now refers to Ji 'an. Luling in a broad sense refers to the whole prefecture-level Ji 'an city, while Luling in a narrow sense refers to Jizhou District, Ji 'an County and Qingyuan District of Luling County (excluding Tianyu Town and Futan Town). This entry refers to Luling in a broad sense, that is, Ji 'an City. Ji 'an is the world-famous cradle of revolution, Jinggangshan. It was renamed Ji 'an in the early Yuan Dynasty, and it is still in use today. Ji 'an has been outstanding since ancient times, and is known as "looking at the county in the south of the Yangtze River", "Jinluling", "blessed land in Jizhou" and "the meaning of articles and sentences". Wenhua luling

Ji 'an is a county of humanities, which gave birth to Luling culture. The ancient city of Luling has a long history. Su Dongpo once wrote a poem: "The majestic city is vast, and Luling is half Suzhou". The culture here is developed, and it is famous in the world for "three thousand scholars crown China, and the chapters are full of flowers". Ji 'an Prefecture not only won the number one champion in the world and a large number of champions, but also the three Ding Jiasheng of Gengchenke and Yongle (A.D. 1404) in the second year of Wenjian in Ming Dynasty were all from Ji 'an. This "double crown" phenomenon is unique in China's imperial examination history, so Ji 'an has "nine scholars, father and son explore flowers. In the long history, Ji 'an has deposited a heavy Luling culture, which is mainly composed of academy culture, religious culture, farming culture, handicraft culture and merchant culture, and has become an important pillar of Jiangxi culture (Jiangyou culture), and has a very important historical position in the history of China national culture.

Shanshui Ji' an

As an old revolutionary base area, Ji 'an has made great sacrifices and contributions to the China revolution, with more than 50,000 famous revolutionary martyrs in the city.
