Where is the real Jiangnan?

In a narrow sense, Jiangnan refers to Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Changzhou, Wuxi, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Huzhou, Jiaxing, Shaoxing, Ningbo, Shanghai and other places near the Taihu Lake basin south of the Yangtze River.

Jiangnan in a broad sense includes the areas south of the Yangtze River in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hunan.
