The second reason is that the difference between geomagnetic sense, body vibration sense, infrasound, smell, air pressure and temperature is too small, so that the pigeon's unique function-navigation system "fails" and cannot play its role. So it's hard to find your home in a short time, just running around. Others dare not fly high or far, just hovering around nearby buildings. The more timid simply lie on the upstairs, and when the fog clears or the weather improves, they suddenly realize that it is not far from home and run home. Therefore, in foggy days, it is not suitable to fly without special training, especially young pigeons, so as not to fly in foggy days, so as not to cause unreasonable losses.
